Authors note: Hello fellow returning or new readers, this is a rewrite of my earlier story "The Haunted Mansion". As stated before this piece was inspired by a dream I had. As a writer I started the story and then ran into a few issues, starting with writers block. Afterwards I became rather busy and now it's rather impossible for me to write or even be able to relax due to the amount of activities I do weekly.
I would therefore deeply appreciate it if you just leave a comment and questions to keep me inspired to march forward and continue writing this story. If I don't receive review or think there isn't much interest in the story I will discontinue it…for good, and I was thinking of doing so in the past.

There once was an average town with average people going about their daily task. The town was like any other town. It had its typical daily gossip spread by the women and the men coming home after longs day of work. One gossip that never died down was about the supposed haunted house at the outskirts of town. The house looked like any other house within the town, simple but beautiful.
The house has been vacant for decades, however people have claimed to hear things and see lights late at night. Thought people have claimed for year to have heard and seen things going on at the supposed empty place.
One day a group of the bravest town's men were sent in to see what was causing all of these rumors to fly around. Not a minute had passed before these men where sent darting out of the house as if the home itself was on fire. These men dare not speak of specifically what they had seen. They only state to have seen something that no one should ever lay eyes on.
After that faithful day, no one dare go back in. Neighboring homes were abandon and its resident move away. Years went by; the town children grew up and started their own families. Years and years passed with the townspeople forgetting about the home which with year of abandonment was left in the state of decay, with ivy and plants sheltering it from the "outside world".
That was until one faithful day a real estate agent came across the home while walking home after another day of not selling a single home in months. Seeing a chance to earn money he seized the opportunity. He hired men to fix the place up to its glorious state with a few updates such as electricity of course. After he placed an ad….

Please review and in that review ask questions it usually inspires me or gives me ideas to work on. Questioning me gives me something to think about, and when I start to think I get ideas mostly, what if questions.
