"Finally" I said under my breath. After days and days of tracking I had finally found them. I knew from the start to track these two, ever since Katniss had fired that bow and arrow I knew she would be the one to kill if I wanted to win.

I set down my rucksack and pulled out my bottle of water and fiddled out the knife I had retrieved out of my belt. I twisted it round in my hand; I can't believe no one has figured out what I can do with a knife! I thought to myself.

Just for practise I decided to throw my knife at a tree.

I threw at a tree that was quite a far distance away; it stuck perfectly out of the tree. I grinned happily.

"Their not gonna know what hit them." I said happily

Just then I heard a twig snap; so I grabbed all my stuff and quickly ran to the tree with my knife in, I yanked it out and ducked behind a tree. I heard someone come very close so I poked around the tree.

It was Peeta.

I fingered my knife debating whether to kill him there and then; but then I thought No, I'll wait and kill him in front of Katniss.

I looked back again at Peeta and he was picking some berries off a bush. He went to put one in his mouth then hesitated. He put the berry back in his hand and quickly walked away.

I came out from behind my tree and decided that I'd pick some berries for later. So I grabbed a handful off the bush and put them in my rucksack; I popped two or three in my mouth and carried on walking.

Suddenly I became all woozy. I sat on a tree stump for a second then stood up. I tried to put one foot in front of the other but my footing went from under me and I collapsed to the ground.

A burning sensation ran through my body and I whimpered in pain. I was curled up in a ball and sweating so much it probably could fill buckets. Then the pain stopped after what felt like hours.

A numbing sensation started taking over the pain and I felt ok. However when I tried to get up I realized I couldn't.

I'm dying… I thought to myself. My eyes slowly shut and then I felt absolutely nothing.

I woke up in a meadow with flowers everywhere. I had a white dress on and my hair was braided with daisies.

I lay in the peaceful meadow just enjoying this new found sensation. Then a cannon went off and a dazzling bright light appeared in front of me.

"It's so beautiful." I said in awe, and I slowly walked into the light.
