Author Note: The minute I heard about the actor's death, I knew that I wanted to write a one take storyline to honor Granger and how the team found out about his death.
Callen and the rest of the team walked into the headquarters after Hetty called and said that they had some news about Granger and wanted to tell them in person.
"Is he okay?" Anna asked him.
"I don't know. I have a bad feeling about it." He responded to his girlfriend.
"I know so do I but I have hope that he is okay." Anna responded to him.
The team sat down and waited for Hetty to come and say what she had to say. Kensi was sitting next to Nell and Anna.
"I hope that Hetty hurry up and say what she needs to say." Nell responded to the girls.
"I am surprised that you don't even know what she has to say." Kensi responded to Nell. "Normally, you are the first ones to know."
"All I know is Hetty got a called from Vance this morning and it did not sound good." Nell responded to her as Hetty walked into the room.
"Alright everyone, I have some bad news about Granger. I was told by Director Vance that Owen passed away. They are planning to have the funeral in DC so I would like everyone to be there." Hetty revealed to them before leaving the room.
Callen and the rest of them just sat there. They were numb after the news of the death. Callen got up and walked over to sit down. He might not had the best relationship with Granger but he still looked up to him. He did not noticed that Anna came walking up to him.
"Hey, I am so sorry." She said to him as she gave him a hug.
Callen just sat there for the few more minutes as they all just digest the news of his death. It was all so hard for them.
