"Well Kai, it doesn't look to good for you buddy. You have a lot of priors. Forty-eight counts of assault, twenty-eight counts of armed robbery, a startling thirty-six counts of illegal quirk usage, and woah, here's a big one, affiliation with an organization intent on using their quirks in manner that would cause mass civil unrest and destruction, also known as quirk terrorism. What do you got to say for yourself kiddo?"
"Can I get a drink of water detective?" After chuckling for what seemed like forever, the I waved in one of the officers to get Kai a glass of water. He seemed to like me. I tried not to talk to him like he was a child, unlike all the other adults. I respected Kai and in return, Kai respected me. When the officer returned with the water Kai downed it in almost an instant. "Jeez kid. You act like they didn't give you anything to drink at home."
"You can go three to four days without drinking water before you die. I can go three to four weeks, five if I limit my quirk usage." I was shocked. A month without anything to drink seemed too inhuman to think about, but that's not what shocked me. It was the kid's expression that rocked him within. He showed no negative emotion when talking about basically being tortured. Looking back, he shouldn't have been as shocked though. This kid who is barely six-years-old, was already one of the countries most wanted criminals and was associated with one of the world's most dangerous organization, of course he had witnessed some dark shit.
"Why did you do those things kiddo?"
"Because the boss said I had too. Can I have more please" I waved in the whole water machine, this was the longest we'd ever had the kid in custody, and I want to get something out the kid before his inevitably jail break. The constant water breaks would only slow me down.
"Why you though?"
"Cause of my quirk."
"Your quirk? All it says is that you have the ability to generate electricity and release it. Hardly anything I'd consider highly needed." I'd had seen plenty of electric type quirks, and even though they were highly regarded for a civilian work, they didn't really hold much importance in the underground.
"It's not electricity."
"What do you mean?"
"It's not electricity."
"I get that. I meant like what is it?"
"Some form of raw energy that hasn't been discovered by the human race. It look like and moves like electricity when I don't co-con-dense it but it's not, or at least that's what Shiro-sama says." Raising an eyebrow, I looked at Kai my curiosity was definitely piqued. The kid had just given Japan its first significant lead on the Twilight Blades in over three years. "Shiro-sama says that because my power is so unique and different it holds the potential to be destroy the world. Something about me being an Omega level threat once I'm able to ma-ma-max-ee-mize its output. I didn't really understand it all, something about my body being unable to output a 100%." Kai didn't notice, to interested in his eighth cup of water, but I narrowed my eyes when I heard that. Omega level threats were only given to those whose quirks had the potential to destroy the world. Currently there were only eleven in the world despite 80% of the population having quirk. They were monitored almost twenty-four seven and every country in the world had a detailed report on each of them. Nothing was excluded, from the strengths and weakness of their quirk, every instance they used their quirk, to eating/sleeping patterns, to favorite movies, hell even their favorite sleeping position was recorded. Japan's only had to deal with two Omegas. The symbol of peace All Might, and the monster who after 4 years is still considered to be the most feared man in history. Demon King Akuma. Akuma was a beast the world just wasn't prepared to deal with when he first appeared. His killing of forty-six heroes in little over an an hour had made the man a monster, but his battle with the seven Saviors of Japan made him a demon. Eighteen hours, over five hundred casualties, millions in city property damaged and the combined efforts of three Omega level quirk heroes and four alpha level heroes and Akuma was finally defeated. I could never forget that day. It was the day my hero career ended.
"Show me."
"Show you what, detective"
"Your quirk."
"Okay." The kid held his hand facing the wall to the side, closed his eyes, and then took in a deep breath. After about a minute of just standing there with his eyes closed, I guess he was just exaggerating right when he was about to put an end to the demonstration, the room instantly got a lot warmer. "2.5%" The detective looked at Kai more intently when he just sputtered that out. Then suddenly bluish white streaks of what looked like lightning started dancing around Kai's body. Suddenly his hand was surrounded by a blue sphere of energy and then as soon as it appeared a large beam of energy was shot from the sphere. I must have been gawking, cause the beam completely obliterated the wall next to them. A hole the size of a pickup truck was left in it's wake. Kai opened his eyes and looked at the detective.
"How was that? Sorry it took so long but 2.5% is hard because the control has to be near perfect."
"That was incredible… Wow… This gift is…. Wow."
"It's not a gift."
"What are you talking about kiddo, this right here is- "
"A curse."
"A what?"
"A curse."
"And why do you say this, a quirk that can help saved millions of lives is a curse?"
"It was given to me by the Demon and it killed my mama when she gave birth to me." Is it Christmas, the detective thought. This kid just gave us another lead. Heh, two leads after a three-year drought, I was definitely getting a bonus now. Although one thing bothered him. In all their previous intel they never got anything about someone being called a demon? If this was a new member than that bonus was looking sweeter than ever.
"I'm sorry about your mother kiddo, but a demon? I never heard of a blade named Demon, can you describe him."
"That's cause he's not a blade, he's a monster with wild hair and a gigantic smile, he's all muscular, so I guess he must be strong. Shiro-sama and Kuro-sama taught me about him. They said that when I'm older if he opposes their rule, I would be there to tip the scales and balance it out. They called me their e-e-equa-lizer." Now that was interesting. No wonder they kept him. He was their answer to another Omega. Wild hair, huge smile, and muscles sounds like All Might. Wait does that mean he's All Might's kid? It made sense in a way All Might quirk is just a strength enhancement while the kid's is release an unidentified energy. Another thing is that Omega's don't or at least shouldn't give birth to more Omegas, the quirk would be too stressful on the body. More importantly does All Might even know he has a kid?
"So, they were training you to fight All Might? I needed confirmation before reaching out to him.
"No All Might's fighting style and abilities don't match him up with mine. Shiro and Kuro deemed him unworthy of my attention, I think Yuno is supposed to fight All Might. My dad, the demon, his named is Akuma." Instantly a wave of dread went throughout my body. This boy sitting in front of me was the spawn of Japan's most notorious villain. It all made sense now, the Blades had sacrificed over seventy members to ensure this kid was never in custody for more an hour. Who would let the most powerful weapon on the planet go. This kid had the potential to wreak havoc on the world. Only reason we had him now was because All Might, Endeavor and Best Jeanist along with 8 other heroes were waiting in the lobby. Wait who was Yuno?
"Are you sure you're the son of Akuma, kid?" If he was, then I couldn't let him go back to the Blades. No, I wouldn't let him go back. This kid was my responsibility now. I had to make sure that he wouldn't become his father
"Yep I'm his kid. Apparently, I'm the perfect opponent for him, with my other quirks I'm somehow supposed to be able to match him when I turn 16. Yuno probably will have the potential to match him too, but that'll happen when he's like 12. Yuno is reaaaally strong. He's on his way here now." For what seemed like the hundredth time that day, was stunned. The Blades were training two Omega level weapons in the form of children. One of them were on their way now, probably to break this one out of prison and… wait did this kid say other quirks?
"Wait did you sa-"
"Come on Kai, Shiro-sama is pissed and I'm not getting punished cause you're an idiot." Turning slightly to my right, I saw a little boy outside the hole Kai made, while standing on what seems to be nothing waiting for Kai. Instantly he knew this was Yuno. The boy looked cold and calculating. He was too mature for his age. He must be the protector, shielding Kai from some of the more horrendous acts.
"But I don't wanna Yuno. The detective here gives me as much water as I want."
"Really?" he genuinely sounded surprised. Guess he didn't get water a lot either.
"Yeah and I kinda told him a lot of secrets. I don't wanna be a bad guy anymore Yuno. I mean right outside are real life heroes, and their all so cool. I even got handcuffed by All Might."
Yuno brow rose in curiosity. "The All Might put handcuffs on you… I don't believe it."
"He did! Ask the detective!" Turning ever so slightly making eye contact with me for the first time I noticed that Yuno seemed to be waiting for my answer. I nodded my head in affirmation of what Kai claimed.
"Woah" I gave a hardy laugh. Even though these kids were some of Japan's most notorious criminals they were still fans of the symbol of peace. After finally calming down and opening my eyes to look at the two boys who were giving me suspicious looks. It then dawned on me that I couldn't let these boys go back to the blades and he couldn't let them go to prison because the blades would just break them out. These kids deserved to live not as weapons but as people. I only hoped my dear sweet wife wouldn't have a problem with it. Who was I kidding of course she'd have a problem with it but… maybe if I gave her something she wanted then it would counterbalance this decision. Huh guess I have to make a call. First, I'd have to get them to stay in the building.
"Hey kiddos. Wanna meet All Might?"
As soon as I opened the interrogation door and they saw him, the kids ran to go meet their hero. Leaning against the door I smiled as I watched them run toward their hero. Smiles adorned their face as he engaged them in a conversation. Watching those smiles I knew I had made the right decision. Taking out my phone I tapped the ever so familiar name of my dear wife. She answered immediately.
"Hey, Jenna can you get two beds ready and order some pizza, we've got company."

Driving home in the rain, I looked through my rearview and saw the boys, sleeping on each other. Kai was drooling on Yuno. Gross. Suddenly the car's screen showed that Jenna calling. I answered it on my earpiece.
"Isshin Shiba Yamamoto, I moved my life all the way out to Japan to be with you. I gave up my hero career back in America for you. I gave up my family back home because of you. I let you pick what house to buy. I let you pick what cars to buy. I saved your life at the cost of some of my biggest dreams. I've given up so much to be with you and you decide to reward me by continuing to make decisions without me. I swea-"
"They're six-years-old and they've been tortured, experimented on, trained to be weapons, forced to commit major crimes, and have been told their only purpose in life were to be weapons against Japan's strongest men."
"Well when you put it that way then, I would've been disappointed if you didn't bring them home. Dammit Isshin when I married you, I didn't think you'd be such an amazing man. But I guess that's why I'm happy to have met you."
"Eh, I'm kinda happy I met you."
"Shut up. So, what else did you want to talk to me about."
"I wanted to know if maybe, you'd want to move back to America. The Blades have a weaker presence there. If we keep them here in Japan, then we'll be under constant worry. Besides you need to resume your career. It was wrong of me to ask you to give it up for me. Especially since part of the reason was because I had to give up mine."
"Isshin" she sounded choked up. Fuck maybe I shouldn't have opened this can of worms. I had never told her that last bit, yet it was always an unspoken opportunity. "Isshin what about you? You can't exactly become a hero… and it would take a while before Interpol could get you a transfer."
"I gotta get better to protect these two, and besides the world still owes me a favor. I'm going to undergo the surgery to get my arm back."
"Isshin it has a 4.7% success rate and if that doesn't pan out than- "
"I know… I'll get Tsuna and Hana to do it."
I could hear her gasp sharply through the phone. She was now beginning to understand how serious it was. "Isshin… you could…"
"I know but these boys, they'll need someone to protect them. We gotta be those people for these kids."
"Why them though Isshin. Why these two boys? That we won't even get to- "
"Because we protect those you can't protect themselves. Besides they seem like good kids babe."
"Don't forget that they're criminals. Do you really want to risk everything for these two?"
"They were criminals. They were forced to be criminals, we can't just let this go. They need us. Besides isn't this what we signed on to do. We signed on to help people no matter what the situation. We don't judge them, we don't reject them, and we do everything in our power to get stronger so that we get better at protecting people, and we protect more people." As I finished that sentence I pulled into my driveway, and there she was standing in the doorway. Tears were freely flowing down her eyes. Getting out the car I walked toward her. Taking her face into my hands I kissed her with as much passion and love that I could muster. Breaking away to regain our breath, I looked into her tear-filled eyes.
"I'm scared" her voice was meek and low, her head was lowered, yet those words carried so many meanings. The surgery, the threat of the blades, the threat of a boy whose parentage is that of a demon, the other boy whose just as strong but far more calculative, the fact that at any moment things could go horrible wrong. She was scared and rightfully so.
"Remember what I told you that day?"
"As long my heart keeps beating, I'll never let those who're in it down." She recited it perfectly. I could hear how much meaning they had to her. It made me smile.
"Exactly, and you know who is in this heart of mine?" she looked up at me, confusion deep and her eyes. I looked her dead in her eyes. "You, Japan, and those two boys."
"You always know just what to say don't you?"
"Yeah, I guess I do. Now how about we go to the car, so you can meet our new sons." A look of shock crossed her face.
"What do you mean?" tears were building up in her eyes. Another reminder that we all lost something in the fight against Akuma. "Isshin, I thought Japan wouldn't let-"
"Well, at first the higher ups said they wouldn't, but under these circumstances and with the promise that we'd returned to Japan so the boys could enroll in Yuei. I mean first they said that they wouldn't fast track it but all I had to do was call in a few favors and then boom, fast tracked. We are now officially the parents of these two little shi-" I couldn't finish because she had locked me in a bone crushing hug. Before I could return it, she had already let me go and ran back to the car. It stunned me. She hadn't moved that fast since, that day, in fact I thought she legitimately couldn't move that fast.
"Heh, I guess parenthood really does change you."

(Jenna's POV)
I ran over to the car. Opening the door, inside were two of the most adorable looking boys in the world. They were both asleep and all tangled up in each other. The more mature one Yuno, had jet black hair and was a little bit taller than the other, he was laying up in the seat, probably the calmer of the two. The other must have been Kai. He was the exact opposite of Yuno. His hair was snow white and wild. He himself was his head was in Yuno's lap but his on his legs were under Yuno's arm and the other was bent and resting up on Yuno's chin. He was also drooling on Yuno's lap. They were adorable, and they were mine. I needed to pay Akuma a visit. He needed to know.
I gently shook them both. Dreary eyes opened up and they both looked at me. They looked at me. I looked back. Gold and Green. They were beautiful. "Hey Yuno, who the hell is this lady and why the hell she lookin at us all funny." Said the gold eyed Kai.
"I don't know idiot, but if she makes one wrong move, I'll turn her into dust."
I teared up some more. These two incredible boys were mine. They were so smart and had so much potential. I'm really their mother, and as they're mother I guessed it fell on me to teach them how to act. "Hi boys, my name is Jenna. Did Isshin tell you we were adopting you?" They nodded still skeptical. "That's fantastic. I'm so happy to have you and I promise to be the best mother I possible can. I'm going to love and support you as best I can okay?" Another round of head nodding. "Good. I'm going to draw you a bath and then I'm going to get you something to eat okay. I ordered some pizza, I hope you like pepperoni, or meat lovers, or supreme, or cheese. Isshin eats a lot so we have to order a lot. While you two are bathing, he'll be getting you some clothes." I heard Isshin groan behind me and give him the fiercest glare I possibly can. What that man has against shopping I will probably never know. I turned back to the boys the demeanor on my face back to a loving and caring one. They looked back at me, wonderment in their eyes. How did I get so lucky?
"Uhh lady… what's a bath?"
"And what's a pizza?"
In a second my arms were around them and I was holding them as close as possible. I couldn't believe my ears they had never even heard of a bath or pizza. The Blades were monsters. I would destroy them for what they did to my children. Without hesitation the next time I see those monsters I will murder them. No one touches my children. "Yuno?"
"Yeah."
"Is this what love feels like."
"Yeah."
"I like love. I like how it feels. You?"
"Yeah."
"Kaa-chan… I… I…think… I think… I… I think I love you too."
"Same for me…Kaa-chan"
"I love you both, and as long as I'm alive, I will never let anyone hurt or treat you like a weapon again. I promise on my very being." They were mine. THEY WERE MINE! "Now let's get you inside so we can get you settled in." I helped untangle the two then took their hands in mine and led them to the door. I didn't see it, but I heard Isshin get into the car to get their clothes. As we were walking to the door I noticed the rain wasn't falling on us, must be one of their quirks. "Oh, and boys, never again will you threaten to reduce anyone to ash or call anyone 'lady' do I make myself clear." I couldn't see my face, but I knew I had inherited the sickly-sweet smile of my mother. The ultimate technique of any woman. I couldn't see it, but I knew instantly that it garnered the reaction I was looking for.
"Ha-ha-ha-hai… Kaa-chan."
"Good."

Drawing the boys, a bath, had not proven as easily as I once thought it would be. First Yuno and Kai thought that I was making a giant bowl of water after convincing them that it wasn't, then after I explained what a bath was, the boys were astonished. They felt that they were completely wasting water. I felt so bad. Six-years-old and neither of them knew what a bath felt like. When I asked how they were cleaned, they said that Shiro would take them to his "Play Room" and they'd enter a weird machine to get cleaned. I was so pissed that I decided that if I were to ever meet Shiro he'd be dead before he could blink. Unfortunately, my hand was gripping the tub, so I cracked and destroyed the tub. Damn…
After that I had to let them take a bath in the Jacuzzi tub. The warm water and the jet surprised them. I put in some bubble bath, and the boys went nuts. It all started when Kai threw bubbles in Yuno's face, and Yuno responded by shooting a burst of bubbles onto to Kai. After that an all-out bubble war started. Bubbles and water were splashing everywhere, getting on me and the boys. After finally getting bathed I went out the bathroom to see Isshin there with some clothing for the boys. We got the boys dry and then put them in some night clothes. Afterward we all went downstairs to get some food. The boys had never tasted Pizza and the taste of it made them smile widely. They loved it. We decided to show them a movie while we ate, unsurprisingly they hadn't seen anything like it. We watched the Lion King and it was funny to see Kai ask if all the animals had quirks that let them talk. He was really into it pointing at almost everything asking about all the animals and colors. Yuno on the other hand was a lot more reserved than Kai about it, but even so his eyes were wide trying to memorize every aspect of the movie. They were lit up in wonderment.
After the Lion King, we decided to show them Monster's Inc. They were just as enraptured in this movie as they were in the last movie. I would occasionally sneak a glance to see the eyes of all three of my boys get droopy. By the times the credit were rolling all three of them had fallen asleep. Kai's little head was on Isshin lap, but his butt was in his face. Yuno on the other hand was leaning into Isshin's chest. They were all drooling. It was truly incredible. They were mine. I had a husband and too little ones. I had a family that I could love for ever. I had reclaimed my dream. I could feel the sting and tears roll down my eyes, I could feel the love in my heart. I finally had my family.

(Isshin's POV)
My mother said raising kids would be a wonderful and fun experience. She said that there would be bad times but there would be so many more good times that they outweighed the bad. I love the woman, but my god was she wrong. She was dead wrong and if she needed proof she should look at what's happened these last two weeks. First and foremost, Kai was a literal devil. The kid pulled so many pranks and tried to fight so many people he might be the death of me. Yuno was a little more restrained but boy did he have a temper. We got banned from the local park because when a few kids starting teasing Kai about his white hair and the fact that he was adopted, Yuno decided to send them flying… literally. The worst part though was that they were always competing. It seemed Kai wanted to be the strongest in the world, which by any means is an admirable dream, the only problem was so did Yuno. This led to Kai challenging Yuno to anything. Now this would be okay if it was like once or twice a week… Kai challenged Yuno every day at least three times a day. Usually Yuno would come up with a bullshit excuse, a habit that I could see being a problem down the road, but on the days, he accepted all bets were off. They were destructive, and nothing was safe. Once Kai challenged Yuno to who could go to sleep faster and when Jenna and I went to our room they had destroyed it. They also ate… a lot. I've been to the grocery store eight times in the last two weeks. The worst though is when one of us leaves the other parent alone with the two. It's hard enough to control them as a unit but alone was a completely different story. A story that I currently was in. This was our last week in Japan and there were some things that she said she needed to do, and even though she didn't tell me I knew what it was, and I was praying it would end well. She needed to do it and soon I would too.
"I CHALLENGE YOU TO A COOK OFF! WHOMEVER MAKES THE BEST SPAGHETTI WINS, YOU FAIRY BASTARD!"
"I accept, mongrel."
Wait what? "BOYS I SWEAR TO KAMI IF YOU BETTER NOT TOUCH ANYTHING! WE NEED THE KITCHEN!"

(Jenna's POV)
"Well, well, well, look what the cat dragged in. Nice to see you here Lady Freedom. How's your husband. Isshin right? I heard he's a big shot detective for Interpol now. How pathetic. I mean to go from an Omega level hero to a glorified beat cop heh. I guess that's what happens when your too scared to get the surgery. Anyway, enough about that deadbeat, how're you? I haven't anything about you other than you got hitched to that weakling." Across from me surrounded by several guns and wrapped in a quirk negating jacket sat Akuma, the demon who at one point stole everything from me. His dark brown skin contrasted heavily with his long orange hair and his deep red eyes. He looked happy, as if my coming today was something he desperately desired. I hated him. I hated him more than anything, but I also feared him. I feared him more than anything as well. "Well did come here to silently stare at me. To show me you're not afraid. Isshin and All Might confronted me years ago why have you waited so long? Is it because you know that one day I'll get out of here and I'll kill you and everyone else you love? Is it because you regret the path you chose, that made you give up your dream? I gave you a choice sweetheart and you chose wrong. So, you gotta face the consequences. Heh stupid woman."
"I'm not here about me. Isshin and All Might may not fear you but… I will always fear you." At this a shit eating grin appeared on his face. "I'm here because, I adopted your son." Instantly the grin dropped from his face a was replaced by a scowl. "I adopted your son and another boy. Both of whom were being trained by the Blades to oppose you and All Might if need be."
"IMPOSSIBLE! I'VE SIRED NO SEED THAT COULD POSSIBLE STAND UP TO ME! YOU SPOUT LIES BITCH!" He was enraged. Good. I finally in control of something involving him.
"I don't lie, you know that. Besides isn't that what you wanted me raising your child? Well you got your wish." I chuckled as I realized the irony "Isn't funny how in rejecting you, I was beaten so badly that you made me unable to bare children. All throughout High School you knew that all I wanted was a family and yet you insisted on taking that away because I didn't want to raise your family. You attempted to take the one thing I wanted most in this world because I denied the one thing you claim to love. Yet here we are. Me with two beautiful kids and you with absolutely nothing but a dark and depressing cell so deep underground you can feel the heat of the core." I could feel his anger through the impenetrable glass in front of us. It felt good to evoke it from him. "You asked why I came. I came to inform you that you failed. I needed you to know that you failed at taking my dream away from, and one day if your ever so lucky to escape you'll fail at that to. Because the Number 1 Hero of the next generation, will stop you." With that I turned around and left. I had done it. I had regained the piece of myself that he had stolen, from me. I was truly complete.
"How do you know, how do know I won't just kill him?" It was barely audible, but I heard it. I knew what he was doing, but I kept walking I couldn't give him the satisfaction of seeing me again. I wanted the last image he saw of me to be one of absolute defiance. "How do you know? How do you know? HOW DO YOU KNOW!" I stopped the answer I had thought of in that instant, was something I knew would piss him.
"Simple. When Endeavor, Best Jeanist, Shunsui, Ryukyu, All Might, and I were all down for the count and things looked to be at it's darkest. When all hope was lost, and the world thought there was nothing we could do. Remember who wasn't down. Remember that the man who you called pathetic stood defiantly in front of you with a broken body and a lost arm, his only goal was to take you down, which he did. Single handedly, he risked his entire being to stop you and he did just that. That man is their father and the future teacher of the next generation. All Might may be the symbol of peace but, that MAN, my HUSBAND whom I CHOSE OVER YOU, he's the symbol of hope." With that I stepped in the elevator and disappeared, ignoring the screaming obscenities and threats.

(Isshin's POV)
Driving up to my family's home I felt an overwhelmingly amount of dread. We had about two more days before we moved but we just needed one thing. Money. The house we were planning to buy out in America was a beautiful one and we had no doubts the boys would love it, but we wanted to buy it without a massive paper trail. We offered asking and said we would pay for it al in cash. Only problem was that we didn't have the cash ourselves. So it was with a heavy heart that I had to go back to my home, and ask my father, a man I hadn't spoken to in 3 years for the money.
Jenna was next to me looking absolutely stunning in her blue dress. Her makeup and blonde hair were done perfectly, and her violet eyes seemed to radiate beauty and perfection. I know what we're doing tonight. The boys on the other hand were both in the back sitting up. Somehow Jenna had gotten the to wear these ridiculous monkey suits, and while Yuno's hair was comb down and looked respectable, Kai's was just as wild as ever. I could tell it was just another thing that pissed off Jenna, but we didn't have time to fix it and honestly, I didn't really care. We were driving in silence which was extremely rare, and it was only happening because the tension was extremely high.
As we made it to the gate and I entered the code, I could tell my family was getting tenser by the second. I should probably diffuse it before Kai and Jenna do something reckless. "What's wrong? You guys should be excited to meet your uncles, aunts and grandparents." Jenna just gave me a scowl, clearly not in the mood to put up with me in the moment. Maybe I should rethink my plans for tonight. Yuno just looked in my direction before turning his head toward the window. Cheeky brat, probably could care less about this whole ordeal. Kai on the other hand was seething. I could tell he was extremely pissed and that he might even start a fight.
"Dad, I swear on my life if any of them say anything bad about mom, I'll beat the hell out of em." Yep, that's exactly what I thought was going to happen. I didn't respond though; no response was needed. Kai was an idiot who was about to learn how dumb he was.
After a few more minutes I finally made it to the front of the house at the top of the mountain. The traditional style Japanese mansion that I had grew up in. It was made of mostly wood that had been painted red butt it had gold ornaments and designs everywhere. It was about four floors high. I think it was once home to a prominent Daimyo during Feudal Japan. I didn't care about that though, to me it was the lions den and I was Daniel. I pulled the car to the front where one of the butlers, I think it was Dan, took the keys. My family and I exited the car and walked inside. It was just as lavish as I remembered. The inside had two waterfalls going from the fourth floor to the bottom. It had a large space for entertaining. With at least six couches. This main room was connected to three hallways each leading to a separate wing of the house. I looked to see Kai and Yuno staring in absolute awe while Jenna just stood there unimpressed. Jenna took one of Kai's hand into hers and I took Yuno's. The last thing we needed was for these two to do something stupid. I led them down the hall on our right toward my father's meeting room. It was just as decorated and had pictures of all our family members. Surprisingly I even saw some pictures of me. Must be mom's doing.
As I continued to walk them down the hall, I saw one of people I had hoped to avoid on this trip. My older brother Shunsui. He was wearing a black shihakusho with a white jacket over it. His beard once nonexistent was full and tightly lined. Over his right was an eyepatch, a result of his struggle against Akuma. His two blades were by his side and his left hand was dangerously close to them. In his right was a bottle of sake, probably half empty even though it was ten in the morning. As we got closer, his eye seemed to gleam with what I assumed would be a barrage of terrible and insulting jokes. Shunsui and I had never gotten along that well. He was laid back, carefree, and a little lazy only training when dad made him. Eventually we got close enough that I had to stop. I guess we were doing this then.
"What do you want Shunsui, I gotta talk to dad."
"What I can't say hello to my kid brother and his commoner whore?" I didn't know who did it, but one of us growled, hell it could've been me. Shunsui must have noticed since a grin found it's way to his face. "Come on bro don't be like that. Besides I wanna be introduced to the strays you picked up off the streets. The sure look like fun to be around." Kai and Yuno lunged.
In the blink of an eye it was over. Shunsui was pinning both Kai and Yuno by the back of their heads to the ground, both struggling to get up. I snuck a quick glance a Jenna a frown on her face. I was surprised Yuno cracked before her, but I wasn't gonna give her a chance.
"Let my kids go now, or I'll murder you." My voice was on fire. The rage of an inferno in every word. Dad would be proud.
"Geesh, I was just kidding bro control your commoners why don't you." He was testing my patience his hands were still on their heads.
"Let them go or I'll murder you Shunsui." Dammit another one I wanted to avoid. Out of my six siblings it just had to be the two who hated Jenna the most. Shunsui let go of my boys and they got up slowly still glaring at him. "You need to teach them manners of a noble Isshin. Clearly your wild wife hasn't been doing it correctly." From behind Shunsui my sister wearing the same garbs came out. Her black hair was done in a nice braided ponytail. Her dull grey eyes stared directly at Jenna the whole time. A silent battle between the two over who was stronger. Spoiler Alert it was Jenna.
"Unohana." It was the first I heard from Jenna since this morning and the ice-cold tone behind told me to run.
"Commoner should refer to nobles with respect it's Lady Yamamoto to you."
"U-no-ha-na." replied Jenna, each syllable more sharply enunciated than last. Unohana was pissed now. She took a step forward her anger radiating of her in waves. I had to diffuse the situation.
"Hana-chan, these are my children Yuno and Kai. Kai, Yuno this is Unohana Retsu Yamamoto, also known as my teddy bear of big sister." Unohana looked at them and immediately her anger faded. She was ecstatic at the sight of her nephews, who were glaring at her and sizing her up. As she moved forward to hug them they darted behind me but in front of Jenna. Good they knew we'd keep them safe and trusted us to do so.
"Oh, don't be afraid I won't hurt you, I'm not Shunsui-baka."
"Hey!"
"Hey, I gotta meeting with Dad, so can you guys move or something." Dad hated lateness and I hated being here for long periods of times, so now that we had settle our little spats I just wanted to get this over with. Unohana and Shunsui moved to the side and we began to pass. As we were going through, Shunsui gave the boys a stupid grin while in return they just glared at him. Unohana and Jenna on the other hand were glaring at each other not breaking eye contact. As I was turning my head back to face forward, in the corner of my eye I saw Shunsui move to slap Jenna's ass. In an instant I had my hand around his throat flame bursting throughout the hallway. "If you touch my family ever again, I will reduce you to ash. Don't test me." As I stared into Shunsui's eyes I could tell he was scared. He hadn't expected me to use my quirk and he knew when I was like this I would make due on my threat, but that's not what scared him. No what scared was the prospect of having to fight the quirk that defeated the demon. Behind me a hand was placed on my blazing shoulder. I turned to see Unohana and my family. Jenna had pushed the boys behind her, most likely to shield them from me if I decided to fight Shunsui now. The boys however were staring at me with a mixture of awe in fear. This was their first time seeing me use my quirk up close and it was probably suffocating for them. Their eyes were wide with fear and I decided to cut off my flames. Taking my hand off my brother's neck, I gave him another sharp glance before continuing down the hall with my family.
As we walked down the hall together holding hands once again. I heard bickering from in front of us. Heh now these were the siblings I wanted my family to meet. These guys were fun. After a few more steps they came into our view. My older sisters Miya & Tsunade and my brother in law Jushiro seemed to be in an argument with my two older brothers Asuma & Kuroma and Tsunade's husband Jiraiya. They were all dressed in the same black shihakusho and white jacket. Tsunade's blonde hair was in a pigtail that went down her back. Her breasts were threatening to fall out shihakusho and she wonders how she married a pervert. Miya was more conservative with her female assets and her long purple hair went all the way down to her knees. Her red eyes showing her growing anger. Asuma had a beard and was smoking a cigarette. His beard was thick and looked like he hadn't cut it in a while. Jiraiya and Jushiro were twins with the only difference being small things. Jiraiya had wild hair while Jushiro had straight hair.
"Well, well, well I leave for three years and you're still sitting here arguing about the same damn thing." They all turned to face me and in an instant they all clobbered me and Jenna with hugs. After they finally worked that out their system I introduced them to Kai and Yuno. Kai took an instant liking to Jiraiya and Kuroma, which Jenna didn't like as they're both huge perverts, while Yuno seemed to hit it off with Asuma, Jushiro and Miya.
Tsunade had pulled me and Jenna to the side for an adult conversation. "I'll take the kids and Jenna to the pool in the back. Dad's not in the best of moods, right now. Seeing the commoner who he thinks broke our family won't be helpful at all. As for the surgery well, me and Hana both agreed to do it. We'll be in America in about two months, for some medical research so we'll do it then. As for you Jenna… well I've successfully developed a surgery that'll repair what Akuma did to you…It has a 30% success rate… however I need Unohana with me to do it. I know you guys adopted these two but if you want more then- "
"I'll do it" I turned to Jenna and looked at like she had grown a second head. She hadn't even heard what it was, yet she was ready to do this. She looked at me a smile on face "What? I love Kai and Yuno, but they need to have a little sister so yeah. We're doing this." With a shoulder shrug and a kiss, the conversation was over. She would be doing the surgery. I left Jenna to go over the details with Tsunade and the others. I would regroup with them after the meeting.
As I continued to walk down the hallway I eventually made it to my father's office. Opening the doors without so much as a knock I saw the old geezer sitting down looking directly at me as if he was expecting me. His was bald, with a long white beard that was decorated with an x pattern ribbon. He was wearing the same thing as my brothers and sisters a black shihakusho and a white jacket. His head was littered with scars as were his very muscular chest which parted his shihakusho. He looked livid to see me.
"What do you want boy." His voice deep and booming just like the old days. I hope his temper wasn't the same.
"I need 5 million American dollars." Straight to the point and direct just like he always is with me.
"Are you serious." Shit, his temper was the same.
"ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS!" Flames erupted from his body, covering the walls and the floors it was immense. It consumed everything, and I knew everyone in the house could feel it, and this wasn't even a quarter of his power. He stood up and walked toward me the flame parting ways as if it feared him. "You abandon this family for three years and you have the audacity to come here and ask me for money!"
"I need it I'm moving to America to undergo the surgery and I want as small a paper trail as possible." I hope I can salvage this mess. My dad and I hadn't talked since I refused the surgery the first time and retired as a hero. He had big hopes of me becoming the Number 1 Hero. When I did it didn't help that I decided to marry a foreign girl whose family didn't even have a quarter of what we had.
"So, you've finally decided to do it." The flames died down. "I guess that means you'll be becoming a hero again. Good. It'll take some time, but you can claim the number 1 rank from All Might within the next 3 years." Of course, that's all he'd be thinking about. At this point I could just say yes and then leave… but my self-preservation instincts were failing me today.
"Yeah listen. I'm not coming back for probably another 9 years. I rescued and adopted two children from the Blades and I don't want to put anyone here in danger. I also want them to be able to protect themselves from the Blades so laying low in the U.S. is the best choice."
"Hmm, those are good reasons but don't worry the Blades won't attack your family if they live with me. Besides I can help train them as well. I'm assuming you'll send them to Yuei?" I nodded "Good. Now your family will be staying here, and that's the last I'll hear of it."
"See that's the thing we literally can't stay in Japan. The Blades will attack, and Japan doesn't want the boys here unless they can control their quirks. Not only were they experimented on to have multiple quirks." His brow rose at that bit information, he was shocked. Something I'd never witnessed before. "But Kai… he's Akuma son… and was supposed to be their weapon to defeat Akuma. While Yuno… he was supposed to kill… All Might." As soon as the words left my mouth he erupted into flames again. This time using much more than a quarter of his power.
"How dare you. I should go reduce that child to ash." This time my flames erupted. Scarlet flames clashed against Blue flames. They were fighting evenly, without the control of their masters. They were just embodiments of our wills, fighting to protect their children.
For the second time that day I saw my father's eyes widen in shock. I didn't care about him though or the money. All I cared about was my family and if it meant dying by fighting my dad then I damn sure was willing to do it. As we stood there, a standoff of flames surrounding us, I could feel his emotions, his ideals, and his will. I'm sure he could feel mine as well, which is what typically happens with flame quirk users. I'd only done this once before and it ended up being why I left for three years. As we stood there for what seemed like days, I was surprised when his flames started to die down. "Heh, I guess parenthood has changed you. You're not as reckless anymore. You're thinking before you act." He understood. Maybe there was hope for us yet.
"Yeah, Jenna tells me that all the time."
"Hmph, how is my daughter-in-law."
"Ask her yourself."
"Fine I will, just let me write this five-million-dollar check, also feel free to stay here for the duration of your stay in Japan."
"Thanks. Dad."

When we got to the pool everyone was already in and having fun. Yuno and Kai had yet to get in one and were taking this opportunity to have as much fun as possible. They were having a water fight with Tsunade, Unohana, Kuroma and Jiraiya. Shunsui, Miya, Jushiro and Asuma were watching them from inside the hot tub. Laughing whenever someone got splashed hard. I had no ideas where the boys got the swim trunks, probably just sporting some of my old swim shorts. Turning a little I saw, Jenna lying on her back, watching them in a pool chair an amused smile plastered on her face. She was wearing a yellow two-piece bikini, probably one of Tsunade's. Her large breasts were barely being covered, in fact it seemed liked only her nipples were. She caught me staring and turned over lying on her stomach. Her sexy round ass completely visible due to her wearing a G-string. Yep my nightly plans were going to happen tonight. I went over to her trailing kisses from the middle of her back to her lips.
"How'd it go?" she moans out after our last kiss. Oh yeah, she getting some tonight.
"It went well we made up a little I guess. You?"
"It went as bout as well as you expect. Kai tried to fight Asuma cause he called him a shrimp. Boy didn't last a second."
I laughed. "Of course not." As soon as the words left my mouth my dad came from the house. His eyes scanned the area to see what everyone was up to, before making his way over to us. Both Jenna and I nodded to him.
"Hello, Jenna how are you today?" he asked.
"Good, Lord Yamamoto, and you?"
"I'm good. I was wondering when my childish idiot son would bring you around. I hope no one is causing you any trouble. I'd hate to have to punish my adult children." The last part was more so directed at my siblings. They hadn't acknowledged his presence like we had. Everyone stopped and did so… well almost everyone.
"Why are you all such scaredy cats? Someone who needs to be acknowledged so bad is probably the weakest in the room. Except for maybe Kai." I was surprised it was Yuno who said this, seemed like he had a problem with authority. Whelp better to deal with it now then later. I looked at Jenna and she seemed to agree. As I prepared to scold him and give him a lecture on respect my father held his hand out, a signal that he would handle it.
"I have earned the right to be acknowledged in my own home young man. You however talk as if you can defeat anyone, but you can't, so don't. In fact as you are now you're weak, however you do have potential, and if you were to erase that arrogant attitude of yours you could one day give me one of these." He pointed to a scar going diagonally across his chest, the scar I gave him. Our family defines ourselves on if we can give our father a scar. It was a symbol that said that we were ready for anyone. When my dad was an active hero he went without a single scar. It was his proof that he was the best. I couldn't wait for my own two to give me a scar.
"I could give you one now, if you wouldn't want to wait that long."
"Ha! Kid's pretty bold ain't he Asuma." Said Shunsui from the hot tub.
"Yeah but let's see what he can do." Replied Asuma.
"Go ahead then boy." As soon as the words left dad's mouth, Yuno activated his quirk. A huge whirlwind appeared circling around his hair flowing wildly. He flew at my dad enhanced by a cyclone. Sticking his had forward he formed a lance made of drilling winds, however right before he could hit him, my dad released his flames burning up almost all the oxygen and rendering Yuno's attack useless. Yuno was speechless as he fell to his knees struggling to breath. "As I said you have potential, but that's about it." With that he canceled out the flames, jumped in the pool and started swimming laps. It was dead silent until Kai got out the pool and went over to Yuno.
"Hey fairy bastard."
"I…lost."
"Yeah I know."
"I…really…lost"
"No shit dumbass, know what you gotta do now?
Yuno could only shake his head slowly as if the loss still hadn't registered.
"Idiot. Now you gotta get up and get to working. Or else you'll always lose"
"But- "
"No buts! You heard what Gramps said! You got potential. He's acknowledging you as a rival who might one day put a scar on him! So, get up and acknowledge him as well. Recognize you got a long way to go before you reach him but know one day you'll surpass him!" Where the hell did that come from? Kai had never spoken like that… to anyone. It was like the roles were reversed. I looked at Jenna who shook her head seemingly reading my mind.
"Where'd that come from?" asked Yuno the question that was on all of our minds.
"You. You told me that the first day we met."
Yuno's eyes widened as he must have realized something. Afterward he stood up and faced dad who stopped swimming to hear Kai's speech. "I acknowledge you… and I thank you for acknowledging me as a rival…however one day I'll make you acknowledge me as a man who surpassed you and gave you a scar!"
Dad only grinned, turning his back to continue his laps he said one thing before jetting off. "I look forward to the day young man."

A/N: Hi you guys it's your (favorite) author dman65. This BNHA story is going to be one for the ages and I hope you guys will support it and encourage it. I wrote this story because I wanted a BNHA world with a bit more depth. This story will explore multiple adult themes such as alcoholism, drug usage, discrimination and other things. I also decided that I wanted to take the focus off of All Might because the BNHA world seems to revolve around him. On another note if you're a fan of my other stories then fear not I'm working on building a schedule that's fits it and after my finals I'll start posting chapters again. I'm thinking of doing it more on a television style where I'll post around 20 chapters in the summer and 20 during winter break only taking a hiatus during my semester. Also I need, need, need you guys to tell what story is you guys really want to see. Right now I have 9 stories I plan to do. And I hope starting May 10 to post four chapters a every three week.
