"The REAL Reason Why Kikyo Hates Inuyasha"

Kikyo stood there, aiming her bow and arrow at her former lover. So, Tsubaki's curse had, in fact, come true. Kikyo's falling in love would be the end of her. In that one moment, Kikyo's anger reached it's boiling point. "You can't possibly be serious…" She clenched her teeth as she recalled the day before at the dock, when he held her close, and kissed her. All of that was a terrible lie. He really had no faith that their relationship would work. He couldn't possibly, not after what he just said.

"Kikyo, calm down!" Inuyasha exclaimed, through his grit teeth. He was getting seriously mad at her overreaction."I was only suggesting that--"

"--I hate you… I HATE YOU!"

After The Fight...

Kikyo painfully made her back to her village, still bleeding heavily from the wound that Inuyasha had inflicted. She carried with her a bow and arrow. When she arrived, there he was, bursting through the roof of the main temple. Arrows that were being shot by the villagers could not even hit him. He was just too swift. Kikyo carefully took aim, with anger in her heart and mind. "I believed in you… I trusted you…" With one breath, she shouted. "INUYASHA!"

Her jerked his head just in time to see the arrow coming at him. It pierced him in the chest, pinning him to a nearby tree. The jewel seemed to fly from his hand, landing on the ground. Kikyo stumbled over to pick up the jewel, with the other villagers surrounding her.

"K… Kikyo…" Inuyasha reached out to her, looking bewildered and heart broken. "It… It was just a thought -- a precaution. I didn't think…" Before he could say anymore, his eyes closed, and he fell asleep.

Kikyo's little sister, Kaede, was at her side. Kikyo knew that she didn't have much time. "Listen to me Kaede," He handed the jewel to her sister. "You must burn the sacred jewel with my body. It must not fall into the hands of those who would abuse it…" She groaned as the loss of blood and pain took over. The last thing she heard was her sister, calling her name.

"Sister Kikyo… SISTER KIKYO!"

As Kikyo fell to the ground, her final thought was: "I don't care what you say, Inuyasha. Even if the after life… I WILL NEVER SIGN A PRENUPTIAL AGREEMENT!"
