That Day
Could you feel the pain when you left me?
Will you ever come back?
Please do, for I could not live my life without you.
Unless you come back,
The pain I feel will never go away,
My heart will never be mended.
I'll be like you, living a life in darkness.
The night I told you I loved you,
You told me you hated me and left.
My eyes that were once full of life,
Are now full of sorrow and sadness.
I'll wait here for you.
I'll never leave this spot.
I'll sit in my garden all alone.
My patience shall never waver.
The days go by and I still wait.
Then one day you came back to me.
You said you made a grave mistake,
And that you loved me too.
I'll never forget that day.
The day all happiness came back into my eyes.
The day you came back will forever be
Engraved into my memories.
