Sam had been trying to get up the courage to ask Jess out, after that first time he had inadvertently bumped into her he made a point of trying to bump into her every few days to see how she was and how she was coping with the work load.
"Hey Sam" she said walking up to him
"Hey Jess" Sam said nervously
"What's the matter Sasquatch?" Jess said "got a test later or something?"
"No" Sam said trying to seem less nervous
"Oh" Jess said "just you seem a little nervous about something"
"I am fine" Sam said "actually I have to get going I have a class in 10 minutes"
"Oh Ok" Jess said and Sam turned and walked away
Sam!" she shouted running after him "I was wondering ... do you want to go out for a coffee or something later on?"
"I would love to" Sam said smiling at her
"Ok" Jess said "I will meet you back here at 8?"
"Ok" Sam said "see you then"
