The sky was dark, yet the stars shone bright. The snow of Prox glittering in the starlight. A young group of adepts were staying at the Prox inn. However, one of them couldn't sleep...
This was a young adept, no more than 15, wearing a green overcoat 5 sizes too big over his usual attire. He was climbing onto the roof of the inn, when a voice called out, "Ivan!"
Ivan turned to look at the speaker, and, shocked, said, "Mia?"
Her blue hair, normally in a ponytil, was now down, and she wore a dark blue overcoat that was only 2 sizes too big for her. She walked over to Ivan, who alredy was on the roof of the inn, and said, "Ivan. What are you doing?"
"Looking at the stars. You want to look too?"
"Huh? Um... Sure..."
Ivan helped Mia up on the roof of the inn and layed down somewhere, Mia laying down next to him. Ivan looked at Mia and asked, "Do you know any constellations?"
Mia looked at the sky in thought, and said, "Well, I know Mercury, Venus and Mars... but-"
"I'll show you some. See over there? The one that looks like a whirlwind? That's Jupiter."
"Wow. You could never see Jupiter near Imil... It looks so pretty..."
"I know, the stars that make up Jupiter shine in a multitude of colors. In Kalay, you could see most constellations, but they aren't always easy to see." Ivan started laughing a little.
"Hm? What's so funny?"
"Just about how hard I tried to find Mercury. It turned out to be in a pretty obvious place."
Mia giggled a little, then got up, as if to leave, "It's getting late. Ivan, I'm going to bed."
"Just one more?"
Mia sighed and said, "All right..."
Ivan pointed to a large circle made of stars with a triangle in it. "That's Thor." He said, "My favorite one. Whenever I got bullied back in Kalay, I always looked to Thor to give me courage."
Mia, interest sparked, asked, "Courage for what?"
"Many things. Mainly to stand up to the bullies. And also..." Ivans's face started to turn a little red.
"Also what?" Mia asked, almost oblivious to Ivan's face.
Ivan took a deep breath, his dark purple eyes gazing into her light blue ones. "I love you." He said.
Mia's face started to turn red, but she said, "I love you too."
They leaned towards each other, and their silhouettes merged into one.
