I Thought She Was Your Honey Bear

You've heard of "How many people does it take to screw in a light bulb?" But ever since Chawni went public, the question "How many people does it take to ruin a person's life" kept bothering Sonny.
Everyday, Sonny had to put up with Tawni's whiney voice calling Chad's name like a little girl calls her daddy. And Chad treated Tawni like a princess. As if she wasn't already. No matter how hard Sonny tried to avoid the power couple, they were everywhere. Magazines, websites, television. But the worst of it was how cute they were together. Sonny hated it.

"Chaaaadd, Tawni needs a shopping spree." Tawni whined, playing with the collar of Chad's shirt.

"But you just had one." Chad groaned.

Tawni cried "I thought I was your honey bear."

"Y-you are, but" he started.

"But, you don't love me......" she cried even harder.

"No, I didn't say that. Here, here you go." he handed her his credit card.

"Yay!" Tawni clapped and skipped off. Chad looked laughed from around the corner. She felt bad for Chad, but then again, he got himself into this whole mess. Chad turned around, his blue eyes sparkling at the sight of Sonny's laughter. When Sonny saw his smile beaming at her, her stomach did a flip. She quickly stopped laughing, but Chad already was headed for her. She tried to run, but her legs wouldn't budge. His charming eyes met hers and her heart went up into her throat. He leaned up against the wall and said "I couldn't help but notice you laughing. Do you find my torture funny?"

Sonny nodded, smiling. He shook his head, grinning. "God, she's like the she-devil. She's so whiney and clingy."

"Can't argue with you there. But, why are you dating her if you can't stand her?" Sonny asked, curious.

"Well, to be honest with you, I'm gonna break up with her. I basically only went out with her because the girl I was interested in was too good for me, and...I was desperate." he flashed another fazing smile.

"Oh! Who's the girl? Maybe I can, uh- put in a good word for you." Sonny lied. She just wanted to hear who he liked. His eyes twinkled, and he leaned in. Their lips met, and Sonny loved every second of it.
