Finnick handed Katniss a sugar cube.
"Sugar cube?" He said with a sexy smirk on his face.
"I'd love one," Katniss replies.
Peeta is standing behind Katniss, giving the death stare to Finnick.
Finnick is tall, over 6 feet. He is tan and has muscles. His hair is a dirty blond bieber flow. He hands out the sparkly square to katniss. Their fingers touch and they both smile at each other as they gaze at awe into each others eyes.
A slight tear rolls slowly down Finnick's cheek as he looks into his future that is Katniss.
Then, Haymitch walks up to them.
"Ready to stay alive?" He asks Katniss.
With her eyes still locked to finnick she quietly says, "Actually yes."
Katniss's depression had got bad ever since she was chosen to fight again in the quarter quell.
She had been bed driven for days. Peeta had been by her side even when she wanted alone time. But the connection she seemed to have with Finnick was unlike any other she had either, neither Peeta, nor Gale.
Finnick tells Katniss that he's moving to a new district.
"Which one?" she asks in wonder.
"12" he says. She stares at him in shock and tells him that's her district.
They become partners in the hunger games. Peeta didn't get chosen for the quarter quell so he is jealous of Katniss and Finnick because he loves Katniss but she doesn't love him back.
A few hours later the interviews start.
Ceaser Flickerman has spotlights shining down on him like the sun in the arena and he starts introducing and talking to the tributes.
When it gets to district 12 times, Finnick admits on live television that he likes Katniss.
Women in the audience faint.
In Katniss's interview she says she likes Finnick back.
They both survive the games and get married and live happily ever after.
