I slipped silently into my desk chair after closing my bedroom door. Only moments before, I'd been pacing around the room asking myself the same question that had tormented me for a while now.
"How should I go about telling him?"
Running my fingers through my mangled blonde hair, I gave an audible sigh of frustration. What to say, what to write? Picking up my pen, I wrote down any and all first words that poured into my mind.
"You are the music that makes my life a song. The beat may not always stay the same, but I don't really mind as long as I can hear the soft and even rhythm of your voice."
"Is that enough?" I asked myself softly. "Is it?"
But even as the question spilled off my tongue, I found myself writing again.
"You are everything wonderful. Your softer-than-cotton touch sends chills throughout my entire body. Your presence warms my soul like a fire that lingers on forever. I want to wrap myself up in you, to be consumed by you. You are my day and my night, or rather, my knight. I love you."
I stopped writing and place my pen down on the desk. "Ahh, he'll probably never get to read this. What was I thinking?"
The door creaked open. "Read what?" his voice said from behind me. I froze; I felt the cold wash over me as I turned around slowly, smiling nervously.
K-kuro-sama!" I stuttered, trying now to hide the letter.
"What's that there?" he asked in his projected voice. "Hand it over." I felt the cold sweat running down my neck.
"N-no. I-it's nothing." I stuttered again. He gave me that look that he did when he knew I was lying.
"Fai." he said and he held out his hand. I was silent, Kuro-sama rarely acknowledged me by name.
"Oi! Give that to me!" he pointed at the paper. I shook my head. "No, I can't it's…" I stopped when I saw him glaring at me with those eyes of his. "Uhm...a-alright, here." I held out my arm with the letter in my hand, which I felt shaking suddenly.
He tore it from my hand and began to scan over it with his ruby eyes. I lowered my head so as to hide my eyes from his.
"Kuro-sama?" There was no response. Instead I felt myself being whirled out of the chair and before I knew it my back hit the wall. I gasped in surprised.
"Idiot." He muttered in my ear as he pushed against me. "Don't you know that I would gladly lay down my life for you? His eyes shimmered lovingly. "Don't you get that?" I was silent.
"Kuro-sama…"
"Shut up before you ruin the moment." His lips pressed against mine softly, he wrapped his arms around me and we kissed.
