Liquid Jealousy
"Nanase Haruka!"
The aforementioned teen groaned as he sank deeper into the water. Bubbles erupted from the action, rushing up to the surface as the water splashed around him. As the furious footsteps approached, Haruka sank completely into the water. Sounds roared in his ears, but he didn't mind; in fact, he welcomed the cool, yet warm embrace of the water, relaxing in its hold.
Alas, the peace did not last long, for one frustrated Matsuoka Rin burst into the room, shark-like teeth snarling at him.
"How long more do you intend to stay in the water?! I've been home for thirty minutes!"
Deep blue eyes stared blankly at him before turning back to the water, watching as air bubbles bursts one after another at the water surface.
"Don't ignore me!" Rin hissed, kneeling by the side. "You and water... How long have you been in the bath tub this time...?" Haruka mumbled a reply, but it was muffled by the water. Rin rolled his eyes, seemingly understanding, "That's still too long, as far as I'm concerned. You don't even greet me when I—"
Haruka shot out of the water suddenly, pressing their lips together in a kiss. Rin, not expecting something like this, stared blankly as Haruka pulled away to immerse himself in the water again.
"Ha... ru... ka...?"
Haruka turned to Rin and rolled his eyes, lifting his head just enough out of the water to speak, "You're an idiot for getting jealous of the water, Rin."
"W-Who said I'm j-jealous of the water...?!" Rin huffed, even as a faint blush tinted his cheeks.
Haruka merely smiled knowingly as he blew bubbles in the water.
...Yep. Definitely jealous.
