The forest was quiet, all except for the gentle wind making the trees rustle. The young girl sat alone in the darkness, perched on a long tree branch. She looked up at the moon and sighed, then was suddenly caught off guard as a pair of strong arms wrapped around her. "Oh! Larva, you suprised me. You're getting much better at sneaking up on me," the girl stated as a smile appeared on her lips.
"What are you doing out here all alone Miyu? You know that we have a job to do," the man replied, pulling the young girl closer. "You look pailer than usual, are you thirsty?"
"Sort of," the vampire replied. "I havent been able to feed for a few days." She leaned back against him and sighed, "Isn't the moon pretty tonight? I've never truely watched it before."
The man pulled off the mask that hid his face and loosened his cape from around his neck. "Here. I dont want you to get so weak that you cant even move," he said, bending down slightly.
"Dont worry about me Larva, I've already found someone that i can feed from. You need to save your energy as well," Miyu replied. "I'm sure that I'll be fine by tomorrow."
"Fine. I trust your judgement. I just can't help but worry about you sometimes, Miyu," said Larva as he retightened his cape.
"I love you Larva. You know that right?" the girl asked as a sweet smile spread across her face. "I'm glad that you're here with me."
The man smiled down at her, which he rarely did. "I've already told you before Miyu, I'll always be with you. I've been telling you that for how long now?"
She giggled, "You're right Larva. You're always right." She grinned mischievously, "So, how long are you going to be with me?"
He pulled her even closer, burrying his face in her hair. "Forever Miyu. Forever."
