Pokémon Black and White: Love Life Shenanigans:

"What in the world..."

As Ash enters the Dragon type gym, He finds himself instantly captivated by the beauty of it all. All things considered, looking at the two majestic statues of Zekrom and Reshiram couldn't have been more enticing for him. Naturally, he was nervous for what this gym had to offer, but with enough courage, and the support of his beloved friends Iris and Cilan- Oh, Cilan. He waited for the day when he could confess his feelings to him. Ash sighed, a little too loud, and Cilan, a few steps behind him, asked him "What? I couldn't quite hear you." "Oh- uh, never mind.. Just... Y'know... Thinking about... stuff." Said Ash, not very casually at all. Cilan figured something was up. He didn't question it. He figured someone as busy as Ash should have some slack when it comes to always being in the moment. They continued walking through the gym, when suddenly - with the help of totally legitimate anime physics - An old man with a beard jumped down from the statue and said "Hello there, Ash. Do you know where Iris is?" Still a bit shocked from the fact that a man that seemed to be in his 70s just jumped down from a giant statue, it took him a little while to come to his senses. He looked at the man's features; Ripped biceps, Chisled face, a ruffled beard, and decided it was best just to tell this guy. "She wanted to stop at the pok-" He stopped, as Cilan interrupted him. "Wait, you know our names? How? Who are you, anyway? Sorry for interrupting you, Ash." "Oh! That's fine. I don't mind." Ash said, not really aware of what Cilan was saying. He was too busy studying his cute hairstyle.

"It seems you do not know me." The old man said. "My name is Drayden, and I'm the boss 'round here. I'm also Iris' grandfather." "I see! You must be the gym leader." Ash said, a little embarrassed he didn't figure that out himself. "Sorry about that. Anyway, like I was saying, Iris was stopping at the Pokémon center to heal up her Axew after our last battle." It never occurred to Ash that his Pikachu was even the slightest bit overpowered. Not even a little bit. Anyway, after trying to strike up some awkward conversations with Cilan, and battling a few trainers' dragon type Pokémon, he finally came to the final segment. Drayden somehow magically got up there before them. Again, anime logic! Anyway, as Ash stepped on to Drayden's platform, and Cilan watched on the other platform, he finally decided. "Cilan!" He said, somewhat loudly, as if there was a tornado roaring in the distance. Cilan didn't reply. There were about a million things going on in Cilan's head. Ash confessing his love for him was not one of them. Ash simply replied with, "I love you." "I-" Cilan suddenly lurched up in his bed, covered in sweat. It was all a dream. He had kind of figured it was a dream. Thank goodness! He wished Ash would never do that. Ever. Filled with relief, he sighed quite loudly. Ash emerged from under the covers right next to him. "What? I couldn't quite hear you." He appeared to be holding some sort of rubber sheath for a... Hot dog?
