Astrid was on Stormfly on a cliff, taking a break from flying. She had been flying with her for 30 minutes and decided to let Stormfly rest for a bit. She was thinking about how much more fun it would've been if she was flying with Hiccup. Suddenly, she heard a shout.

"Astrid!"

She turned her head several times to find the source of the voice until she finally turned to the center to find Hiccup riding towards her on Toothless. She and Stormfly made room for them to land until Toothless finally landed. Astrid smiled as she walked towards her boyfriend, whom was getting off of Toothless and singled him to go play with Stormfly. Hiccup smiled and also started to walk towards her.

"I missed you so much." Hiccup said, as he wrapped his arms around Astrid's waist as he hugged her.

"Me too." Astrid replied.

"Well, I don't see why you're complaining, Hiccup!"

"Come on, As! This was my sixth outfit that Toothless slobbered over, THIS WEEK!"

"Maybe you should come up with slobber-proof armor!" Astrid and Hiccup were sitting next to each other on the cliff just talking about stuff. As for Toothless and Stormfly, they were just playing tag with each other and trying to scare birds. Astrid was laughing at Hiccup's complaining until she saw her boyfriend with a pretty sad look on his face.

"Hiccup, I didn't mean to-" Astrid started.

"Oh, it's not what you said. I was just thinking about my latest fight with my dad." Hiccup replied somberly.

"Oh, boy. What was it about this time?"

"Astrid, I don't think you wanna know."

"Hiccup, you tell me about your dad problems all the time and they don't freak me out! What's so diferent about this one?"

"My dad wants me to...have kids." This caused Astrid to blush madly, which she never did. EVER.

"Oh."

"But, I don't want to start a family. At least not yet. Not when there are still fights between these crazy fighters and Berk! I don't see myself having any kids until I'm like- Astrid, I didn't want to freak you out or-"

"No it's okay. I don't see myself having kids either." Hiccup smiled in relief and held Astrid closer to him. They then looked across the cliff and looked at the sunset caressing on the beautiful light blue waves.

"I don't get it." Hiccup said in defeat.

"Don't get what?" Astrid replied confused.

"Why I have to live up to everyone's expectations? Fulfill their wishes when I can't fulfill my own? I don't even know what I'm searching for in my life anymore!" Astrid scooted closer to Hiccup and put her arm around him.

"Well, there's always choice. You can fulfill your own wishes and you get to change fate, even if it's your own. And besides, what you're searching for is in here." Astrid said smiling as she placed her hand over Hiccup's chest. Hiccup turned his head to Astrid and smiled at her, glad to know that his love can help him find what he's searching for.
