Hey everyone, I was reading a Baby Blues comic and came up with this oneshot. I think its kind of cute; tell me what you think!
Hiei and Kurama had just finished watching The Ring, which the fire demon had enjoyed immensely. He had really liked the part where the girl came out of the T.V. and killed the boyfriend. Hiei was leaning against his lover with his head lying on his chest, Kurama's arm wrapped around his shoulder.
The fox stretched a little and nudged Hiei, signaling to let him up. The demon let out a small protesting noise and refused to move, snuggling further into Kurama's arms.
"Come on koi, let me up, I need to clean up the kitchen. Your latest cooking attempt left quite a mess."
Kurama finally got his lover to shift enough so that he could stand up. Hiei blushed a little and pouted cutely, crossing his arms.
"Well, maybe if you would actually teach me to cook something, you wouldn't have to clean the kitchen all the time."
"Maybe if you had a longer attention span, I'd be able to teach you."
Hiei stood up, glaring. Kurama grinned triumphantly and started to walk to the kitchen. He was stopped by a pair of arms that appeared around his waist.
"Do you have to clean up now?" Hiei whispered, circling around so that he was in front of his fox.
Without waiting for an answer, he reached up, took hold of Kurama's bangs and pulled him down into a passionate kiss. The fox reluctantly broke away and inched forward a few steps, toward the kitchen, bringing up his hands to halt Hiei.
"Yes, love I have to clean up now. So…" Kurama started to move past him, but the demon caught his hands and kissed him again.
Kurama fought to remember why he was going to the kitchen and not staying here with his beautiful little fire demon. This went on for several minutes, Kurama moving step by step to the kitchen and Hiei distracting him with skillful, loving kisses. The fox finally reached the kitchen and Hiei let up long enough for him to take a look around the room.
Kurama frowned slightly and glanced down at his lover, "Why did I come in here again?"
Hiei snickered, "Why would I tell you that after I worked so hard to make you forget?"
"Why you sneaky little--" the fox was cut off abruptly as Hiei captured his lips.
My fire-baby, the object of my affections, and the destroyer of my short-term memory. Kurama thought as he gave into the kisses the demon showered on his mouth and neck. Hiei gently drew his lover back to the living room, settling them back on the couch, with him sitting on Kurama's lap straddling his waist.
"Well…I guess I can do…whatever it is I wanted…to do…later." Kurama gasped out between kisses.
"Exactly." Hiei said, his teeth grazed the fox's throat, earning him a soft moan. After a couple minutes, Kurama laid his hands on the fire demon's shoulders, pushing him back. Hiei let out a low growl, trying to maneuver around his fox's restraining grip.
"Not now, koi, my mother's coming home from work soon, and—Ah, right, I wanted to clean the kitchen!" Kurama got up and walked back into the kitchen, leaving Hiei sitting on the couch. The fire demon glared at the door that his fox had just disappeared through, annoyed that he had to wait.
Suddenly, he smiled. His fox owed him now. It was going to be one hell of a night.
What did you think! I made a few little changes, because I thought some of the things seemed impractical. Fire-baby is a nickname I've read about in other fanfics, and I decided to use it here, I claim no ownership.
