I Can't Be Your Friend Anymore

This might come as quite a shock

But I've given it a lot of thought

This thing that's come between us

Can't be ignored.

I've taken all I can

This is where it's gotta end

Cuz I can't be your friend anymore,

' Man Leena, why can't I get you out of my head?' thought Bit as he was laying on his bed. ' Every time I'm around you, I feel so happy. You're my best friend. But this feeling I have inside, is stronger than I can handle. Maybe I have this feeling because I...I...love...you.'

" Hey Bit," said Leena as she knocked on Bit's door. " Dinner's ready."

" Ok, I'll be right there." said Bit as he got up and started walking down to the kitchen.

And I can't be accused

Of not being there for you

How many nights have you shown up at my door

I hope you understand

That this want' in my plans

But I can't be your friend anymore

Dinner seemed to go by fast. Bit volunteered to do the dishes, to try and keep his mind off of Leena. When he was finished, he saw Leena walking out on the balcony. He thought about following her, but decided against it. Instead he went to his room and laid on his bed. More images and thoughts of Leena drifted through his head. ' Maybe I should tell her how I feel. I mean, what's the worst that could happen? Oh...duh... she could break your heart, because she doesn't feel the same way.'

And it's killin' me to know you without

Having a chance to hold you

And all I wanna do is show you how I

Really feel inside

You can run to me

You can laugh at me

Or you can walk right out that door

But I can't be your friend anymore.

Bit walked out to the balcony. He snuck up behind Leena and grabbed her around the waste. Leena turned around and stared into his eyes for a brief second.

" What's wrong Bit? You look like you have been crying." she said as she turned around to look out into the night sky.

" Well, I've been having thoughts lately, that my heart can't handle." he replied.

"Oh, I see." said Leena back.

" Leena, I need to tell you something." said Bit.

" Ok, what is it." said Leena nervously.

' Ok Bit, you can do this.' thought Bit. " I...I...love...you. And I want to be more than just your friend."

So baby not it's up to you

Do I win or do I lose,

Will my heart fly or lye broken on the floor?

Well take me as I am,

Cuz I wanna be your man

But I can't be your friend anymore

" I...I...wow, I don't know what to say to that." said Leena back.

" That's ok, I understand. I guess I'll see you tomorrow then." said Bit at the verge of tears.

" Bit wait," said Leena as she ran over to him and threw her arms around his neck. " I love you too." she said, and then she kissed Bit.

Bit placed his arms around her waist, and kissed her back. " Let's go dancing."

"Ok," said Leena as she took Bit's hand and walked out to the car.

We can't be just friends anymore.
