Hello all, it's Lauren! This is a parody written by Nicole and I, for "The Wizard and I" It's basically about what things will be like once we're cast as Elphaba (at different times, of course) in "Wicked". Well, as always, please review, and we hope you enjoy!

that really just happen? Have I actually understood?
After all
these auditions and try-outs, I have a talent that could
Help me
be in "Wicked," if I act good! So I'll act good!
When
I'm part of "Wicked"... once I prove my voice is strong...
When I'm part of "Wicked", what I've wanted for so
long!
And with all the director's wisdom, by my looks, he won't be
blinded!
Do you think that Broadway is...dumb?? Or like
preppies, so dull-minded? NO!
He'll say to me "I've
seen what you can do, if I cast you in!"
And that's how I'll
begin, Broadway and I...
Once
I'm part of Wicked, my whole life will change!
'Cause when I paint
my face green, no one will think I'm strange!
No best friend is
not proud of you, no little brother acts ashamed!
And the
audience has to love you when by the critics you're acclaimed!
And this gift, or this curse, I have inside... maybe at last I'll
know why,
When I am up on stage, just Broadway and I...
And
one day he'll say to me "Listen...an actress who is so
superior...
Shouldn't a girl who's so talented, have a matching
career?
And since folks here to an absurd degree, seem focused
that you're a minority...
Would it be alright on your card, if I
were to make you a STAR?"
But, of course, that's not
important to me... So, "All right, why not?" I'll
reply!
Oh, what a team we'll be, Broadway and I!!
Yes, what a
team we'll be, Broadway and...
Unlimited...
my future is unlimited...
And I just had a vision almost like a
prophecy!
I know, it sounds truly crazy,
And true, the
vision's hazy,
But I swear someday there'll be
A celebration
throughout Broadway
That's all to do... WITH ME!
And I'll
stand there, part of "Wicked," feeling things I've never
felt!
And though I'd never show it, I'll be so happy I
could MELT!
And so things will be for the rest of my life, and
I'll want nothing else till I die!!
Cheered in such high esteem!
When people see me they will SCREAM
