Summary: When Lilly's around, things are never dull
Notes: I... Have no idea. It just happened, but I like it. Haven't seen 2x10 and want to stay unspoiled, keep out.
When Lilly's around, things are never dull. Lilly puts on some silver platform shoes after covering herself in blue and purple body glitter. She spins around, showing herself off to the stuffed animals and the posters scattered in her room. Meg laughs at Lilly as she moves with the girl, fixing her long blond hair up into a sloppy bun. Veronica watches from her spot on the bed and shakes her head, laughing. She knows that she's the next victim of the master plan. Meg pulls a sparkly gold gel pen from Lilly's desk and begins doodling stars and flowers up and down her friend's arms. After a few moments, Meg moves up to Lilly's face, drawing a large crescent moon on one of her cheeks.
Veronica climbs off of the bed and pours her bag of makeup out on Lilly's desk, watching in wonder as the other girls begin sorting through it, pulling the loudest and brightest colors from the mess. Lilly begins working on covering Veronica's face and arms with glitter while Meg curls her hair with the bright pink curler Shelley had given Lilly for her sweet sixteen. Lilly abandons her friends, turning up the volume on her stereo and picking through a spilled bag of Skittles, devouring only the green ones. She leans back against her bedroom wall at watches the scene in front of her.
Meg sits the curler down after unplugging it and takes Veronica's hands in her own, spinning the shorter girl around to the music. Everything going on seems to stop and its just the music and the dancing and suddenly Lilly is throwing red Skittles at them. Of course they retaliate and soon the room is filled with rainbow colors flying everywhere and teenage girls' laughter, and none of them want this moment to end.
Veronica knows it's going to though. Through all of this in the back of her mind is that nagging voice telling her that sooner or later she's going to wake up alone and Meg and Lilly will still be together, off doing whatever it is that dead girls do. For now, dreams would have to do.
