"His last words"
A teenage Ethan and Caleb fanfiction. Taken from the song "her last words"

Ethan hated his life. Everyone hated him and just always seemed to pick on him. His dad was an alcoholic, the kids at school just called him fat and all sorts of things.
Ethan got to school one day feeling deflated. "It's fatty!" Shouted an older boy as many students laughed and threw things at him. Ethan couldn't take anymore. Every day this would happen. People would shove him into lockers just for standing in the wrong place or they'd take his lunch. Worst of all they didn't even see how depressed Ethan was getting. Or the scars on his wrists.
The young lad jumped the fence and ran home in tears. He had finally snapped. Ethan got out a pen and paper and wrote a quick note. Before hanging a piece of rope off the curtain rail.
He put stood on the chair and out his head between the rope. He took one final look out of the window before the chair fell down... Now he's greeting death who can save him...
Caleb got home that night after a good day. Calling for Ethan like he usually does. But this time there was no answer so he wandered up the stairs into Ethan's room. Opening the door and almost fainting at the sight in front of him.
His little brother... Just hanging there. He picked up the note that was lying on the floor and read it...
"Ive tried for so long to fix this and fit in
I've come to realize this world's full of sin
There's nothing for me here, I'm just a waste of space
I've got no reason to stay here with this awful race
It's a disgrace, I was misplaced
Born in the wrong time, and in the wrong place
It's OK though, 'cause you'll see me soon
You'll know when your time has come, just look at the moon
As it shines bright, throughout the night
And remember everyone's facing their own fight
But I can't deal with the pain, I'm not a fighter
You'll make it through the night, just hug your pillow tighter
So let the world know, that I died in vain
Because the world around me, is the one to blame
And I know in a year, you'll forget I'm gone
'Cause I'm not really something to be dwelled on
That's what they used to tell me, all those kids at school
So I'm going by the law majority rules
My presence on this earth is not needed any longer
And if anything, I hope this makes you stronger"
"Oh Ethan..." Caleb sobbed "I should've been there for you. Those kids are nasty you should've ignored them... They were the waste of space. Not you!"
The room fell silent... All that was heard now was the sobs of a brother who had just lost his life long companion...
I may write more... Depends on what you guys think... Please review.
