Author's Note: As you all know, the Abnegation live in houses that are all the same size, all the same type, all the same color, (a boring, dull grey), and the list goes on and on. But this made me wonder something, which you will realize in this story.
Starring:
Aria (F) - A made-up character of my imagination, who lives in Abnegation.

Crunch. Crunch.
The lifeless ground was littered with rocks and gravel, and Aria had to carefully maneuver her way around. Her twin brother, Caspian, followed silently. There was no need for useless talk in Abnegation.
Aria's long grey skirt rustled in the wind, and she pulled her scarf closer to her face to feel it's soft warmth. Her simple white blouse was decorated by a small button at the top, covered by her grey cardigan and ash-colored scarf. Her copper-brown hair was tied into a bun, simple and practical, as her mother would say. She stared up ahead, where her mother and father took the lead.
As they turned the corner, their lovely, simple grey house emerged a block down the street. Likewise, all the other houses were the same, both inside and out, but Aria knew her house. As they went up the steps, her father was about to open the door when a figure appeared. She was an old woman, her grey hair tied neatly in a bun like the rest of the Abnegation women, and her face was wrinkled into a frown.
"I'm sorry, sir, but this house is where I live. Surely you can understand."
Aria arched her eyebrows in confusion. "Isn't this our house?" she thought in wonder, then shook her head. "The Abnegation live to help others." she reminded herself, and stayed silent.
Her father nodded politely and went back down the steps, where the rest of his family was waiting. They crossed the street to another simple grey house. After opening the door with the key, her father promptly picked up a newspaper from the side of the table and began to read. Aria went upstairs to a little bedroom, Caspian following her.
Aria sat down on the edge of the bed and sighed.
Fin.
I know, I know, most of you guys are totally confused. But what I was trying to say was that if all the houses in Abnegation are the same, it doesn't matter which house you go to, right? They're all going to be the same, so there is no difference between what house you pick, just location. Please give tips, reviews, and anything else helpful for me to think about and fix. All the same, thanks for reading!
