How is everyone doing How is everyone doing? Just let you readers know that this fanfics will revolve around Adrian Shephard and his role as a Combine soldier. This story will take place sometime around half-life episode 2 but with a few alternative occurrences. I don't own half-life valve does.

Half Life 2: Opposing force 2

Chapter 1: Adrian Shephard

In an open are with only a few trees, a combine elite soldier sat on a log waiting for any other combine. As the combine were scattered through out the forests this soldier and his team were separated due to an ambush. It was unknown of who the attackers were but he knew for sure that it was not the resistance. The name of this Elite was Adrian Shephard. A former HECU soldier of the United States Marine Corps who had two decades back journeyed across the black mesa research facility. But when his journey ended the mysterious G-man abducted him. And threw him into the void where he thought he would never be able to escape. Shepherd returned to earth four years back and was immediately drafted into the combine overwatch. Due to his experience in the U.S.M.C he was pushed up to the category of Combine Elite. In numbers he had aged but physically he only looked like he was in his early 30's due to the fact the he only began to age again within the four years of returning to earth. Shephard was tall standing at six feet and was very strong, possessing the large muscular build of a professional football player. He developed his muscular build through playing a lot of football with other combine soldiers during there off duty hours and also through a series of workouts such as weight lifting and other aerobic exercises. However Shephard was tough, aggressive and ruthless soldier who would always stick to the mission no matter what. As he drifted off a digging noise cut him out of his thoughts. He surveyed his surroundings to see what it was and spotted it few meters away. Smoke was rising out of the ground and emerged an Antlion that was preparing to attack. He shot up and quickly drew out his pulse rifle and shot at the oversized insect. With in a matter of seconds the creature was dead. He carefully walked up to the dead creature to make sure it was dead. He slightly kicked it. The corpse made no move. Just then he heard shooting noises and ran to the direction were it was coming from. A/N Sorry I had to make this short I will update as soon as I can. Please review.
