I'm pretty sure when you think of a fun job, it's not at LensCrafters.

And in that thought, Lilly agrees.

She's just unfortunate enough to work there, assisting everyone from the elderly to the geeky to the obnoxious.

Of course as fate would have it, on one of the most uneventful days of work, a special someone popped into the store.

"Welcome to LensCrafters, how may I-" Lilly welcomed, unemotionally at first.

You know that feeling when you want to say something but can't because your voice is caught in your throat?

Yeah. "Hey there, um, I just need to get these adjusted a little. Something's wrong with an earpiece or something."

The customer took off his glasses and handed them to Lilly, who didn't take them right away.

"You okay?" He asked, laughing nervously.

Lilly shook of her state of shock and smiled. "Yeah, I'll see what I can do about them. Let's see how they fit first."

He placed the glasses on his gorgeous face and let them fall sideways.

He shrugged, implying he couldn't explain why they were sitting lopsided.

"I think I might just get some new frames," He offered, taking them off again.

"If that's what you want, I can help with that, too, JR."

As soon as her reply escaped her lips, she blushed crimson.

"Thanks. I really appreciate it."

Jake Ryan didn't care that she'd used his initials.

What she didn't know was that he thought it was cute the way she blushed, the way she stuttered and stumbled around her words when she was nervous.

Lilly began showing him the different styles of frames he might like, let him try them on and decide what he liked and didn't like.

When they had scanned most of the store for the perfect frames, one pair stuck out to her.

She quickly snatched them from their place on the rack and handed them to him. "These would look great!"

He put them on and looked in a nearby mirror.

The smile on his face let her know they had found the glass slipper.

"You want these?"

"Yeah, these are the ones. And there's one more thing I'd like if you please."

Lilly was oblivious to what was coming next.

"What else would you like?"

"A date. With you."
