After Being Saved

He hadn't noticed her smell before and her movements that memorized him. She smells sweet

and a little like laundry and a certain smell he can't quite put his finger on. But it's intoxicating

and later tonight he would spend hours trying to analyze it. She doesn't smell like Summer at

all. Summer smells like girly shampoo and exotic spices from far away. She tells him that they

are the same, that they are broken the same way. She reminds him that Summer always saves

him and god knows Ryan is always at her rescue. Seth thinks about arguing she is after all the

epiphany of everything that he hates, or used to anyways. And when she climbs on top of him

he thinks her body feels bony. Her kisses are gentle but get powerful quickly. He searches

around her body for a place to rest his hands. He's not used to not feeling curves. She even

tastes like the way she smells, which now Seth guesses it's a type of alcohol he's never tasted

before. And even though he knows he shouldn't he savors her kisses. He even lets himself get

hard when she sticks her tongue in his mouth. With all arms around her he wonders if his body

feels bony for her too. She gets off him a little too quickly. With tears streaming down her face

she fixes her shirt that is half way pulled down. Seth doesn't remember doing that. He feels

like wiping the tears from her eyes but he doesn't bother, mostly because he feels now that she

is too fragile to touch and also because now he has tears of his own streaming down his face.

As she leaves he searches for a reason. They both shouldn't have been there. The only reason

why they were alone in his room was because there names were Cohen and Cooper and the

teacher thought it was a great idea to assign the projects partners by last name. He gives up a

little too quickly on trying to figure out why they did this. Mainly because he doesn't want to

know and because he thinks he does know the answer. He figures it's just because no matter

what Ryan will be saving the day and leaving Marissa behind to do so. The Hero from Chino,

that even saved Seth Cohen from himself. Then there is Summer, the one who loves Seth but

won't tell him that yet because she doesn't have the tolerance for him, just yet. But either way

she always drains the bathtub water from Seth drowning in his own self pity.

He doesn't watch her leave. He was never really sure if she went straight home or if she went to

the pool house.

Seth Cohen figures its better not to know anything anymore.
