"I broke up with Josh." Kate replied
"Why?"
"He wasn't the person I was in love with. I remember what you said that day at the cemetery Rick. Did you mean it?"
"You heard me. You never said and yes I did mean it and I still do. I love you Kate Beckett. I have done for a while."
"I love you too Rick. That's why I broke up with Josh."
"I'm going to kiss you now."
Rick kisses her briefly on the lips.
