I won't talk
I won't breathe
I won't move till you finally see
That you belong with me
You might think
I don't look
But deep inside in the corner of my mind
I'm attached to you
I'm weak
It's true
'Cause I'm afraid to know the answer
Do you want me too?
'Cause my heart keeps falling faster
Ginny Weasley threw down her quill with a huff. "That's it!" she screeched. "That's it!"
When she realized everyone was staring at her with expressions of mingled amusement and annoyance, she blushed furiously and sat down again. She'd been doing her homework in the Gryffindor Common Room for the past couple hours now, and this was the twelveth time she'd accidentally wrote Harry's name on her parchment.
I've waited all my life
To cross this line
To the only thing that's true
So I will not hide
It's time to try anything to be with you
All my life I've waited
This is true
Sighing deeply, Ginny propped her chin in her hands and thought about him. Harry. Even his name made her knees go weak. Aside from his scar, his most unusual feature were his eyes, a bright emerald green. Or, she thought, coloring up slightly, like a fresh pickled toad. His hair was constantly messy, as if he'd just ridden his broom, and his round glasses gave him the innocent boy-next-door look. But he was anything but the boy next door. Harry was simply extraordinary.
Pursing her lips together, Ginny firmly made up her mind. No more hiding. It was time to just grit her teeth and do it.
You don't know
What you do
Every time you walk into the room
I'm afraid to move
I'm weak
It's true
I'm just scared to know the ending
Do you see me too?
Do you even know you met me?
Then she saw him. He climbed through the portrait hole, chatting amiably with Ron and Hermione. Her heart skipped a beat and her breath quickened, like the first time she'd ever climbed onto a broom. Before she could stop herself, Ginny stood up and scooted over to the trio.
I've waited all my life
To cross this line
To the only thing that's true
So I will not hide
It's time to try, anything to be with you
All my life I've waited
This is true
I know when I go
I'll be on my way to you
The way that's true
I've waited all my life
To cross this line
To the only thing that's true
So I will not hide
It's time to try anything to be with you
All my life I've waited
"Harry?" she heard herself say. "Would you like to go to Hogsmeade with me this weekend?"
This is true.
