Chapter One -- Unfortunate Wedding
I do not own any of the "Inu Yasha" characters, I am only borrowing them =D.
Now I for one have never thought matrimony should be an influence at such a young age, but my teacher on the other hand thought it would be a great conversation. I sit here in class, eyes glazing over with boredom while Izuzu-san stumbles through another one of his 'inspirational' speaches. My minds wondering along, only catching a few words falling out of his mouth. All I want is to fall asleep, I wouldn't care if I snored or droiled I just can't stay upright for another moment.
The evening before I had been off marching around with Inu Yasha. He consistently told me that there was a shard around, but my patience grew thin drawing me straight to the well. By the time I returned home school would be only an hour or two away so I dragged myself back home, ate a good breakfast and left for school. Although I find the wee hours of morning to be breathtaking, I would of rather seen the fabric of my pillow then the blazing rays of the sun.
'Oh great whats this.' I think to myself.
I pick it up in my hand reading the vivid outline of rules and instructions for our new project. Wait, project?! Right there, it says it:
'Project: Introduction to Marriage'
Ladies and gentlemen, you are about to journey down the thrilling and ever changing path of marriage. This promise of partnership is a very large commitment and a perfect eye-opener for youth like yourselves. Here are some guidelines:
I. Instructions
1) You, Kagome Higarushi, will be married to Hojo [what is his last name?! o.O]
2) On November 12 he will propose.
3) You must wear the ring he gives to you, showing your dedication to both your partner and this project.
4) During the next two weeks you must attampt to be with each other every moment possible.
5) The stronger your relationship, the better your grade.
6) On November 13 there will be a class wedding.
7) From then until the two weeks is over you must find jobs, find a house, a vechile, start a family, and of course there will be bills to be paid.
8)This project is 65% of your letter grade.
II. Rules
1) If you have difficulty with your partner, too bad that's what a relationship is.
2) Follow all the instructions, and you will pass.
What?! Hojo. I can feel my face growing hot, this defenitly is not going to be fun. What about Inu Yasha?? What is he going to say, wait, I'll have to bring Hojo with me! But I can't! Oh no, he's looking over here. Stop looking, your making me feel guilty, oh great all the days to throw this on my plate! And this ring rule, what is going on here, why do I have to where a ring too? What will Inu Yasha think?! He won't listen to me. I have to be dreaming, lack of sleep does this to you right......this is not happening.
So here is the very short first chapter. More like a prologue right? Well I haven't written in a super long time and I might be rusty so bare with me. I won't do the whole story in first person i just thought it would be easier for me at the moment. The more reviews I recieve the faster I'll put up chapters and it's a defenite confidence booster!
