Conversations with Severus never end well.
They sometimes involve his whining, or news on Voldermort. Sometimes they have to do with the Order. Mostly they involve death. All are secrets. In front of the students we act differently, but our true conversations almost never offer good news. Today is no different.
I try to make a difference, I really do, and I succeed. But how come whenever I do really good, they are secrets and end up bad?
Severus reluctantly agrees to my wishes. I fiddle with the infamous, murderous ring, and I am ready. I am ready to die.
