'It was an ordinary, or as ordinary as White Chapel can get, Friday afternoon. Ethan Morgan was walking
to luch with his best friend, Benny Weir. "Come on, Dude! You have to do it! You have to ask her out, before some
jock does," Benny exclaimed.
"Benny, how many times do I have to tell you, I'm not gonna' ask Sarah out," Ethan whisper yelled back.
"Come on, E! What's the worst that can happen?" the spell master asked.
"She could say no, laugh in my face, tell the whole school a geek like me asked her out, and ruin our friendship!
That's the worst that can happen," the seer answered back. They went through the line, and then they sat at a table
with Sarah Fox, the girl Ethan loved, and Erica Jones. Ercia was the first to notice the boys' apperance.
"Hey, Dork (referring to Benny) Hi, Nerd King a.k.a Sarah's Geek (referring to Ethan,) Erica said, blandly.
"Hey, Benny. Heeeyyyy Eeeetttthhhhaaaannn," Sarah said, with the biggest smile on her face. This made Ethan blush
like CRAZY!
"Hey, Babe, Sarah," Benny replied.
"Hi, Erica. H-h-h-hey, S-s-s-Sarah," Ethan sputtered out.
"You two are SO odvious," Erica said.
"What?" Ethan and Sarah asked in unision.
"You two both odviously like each other. That's what Erica's saying," Benny explained to the two.
"I do not like him/her," Ethan and Sarah exclaimed in unision.
"De-ni-al," Erica sang.
"Ya, right," Sarah said.
"Come on, Sare. Don't act like I haven't seen the pictures of your pet nerd you have in your locker," Erica teased.
"Busted!" Benny yelled.
"Wha- Hold the phone! I'm confused! Someone explain," Ethan commanded.
"Sarah has pictures of you in her locker. Everyone here, besides Sarah knows you love her. You tow should just go
out already!" Erica yelled/explained.
"Really, Sare? Do you have pictures of me in your locker?" Ethan asked softly.
"Y-ya," Sarah barley said above a whisper, blushed hystericly. "Is what Erica said true? Do you love me?" Sarah asked,
slightly louder.
"Y-y-ya," Ethan stuttered, in a whisper, red as and apple.
"Ok, so are you two, finally, going out now?" Benny asked. Ethan and Sarah glanced at each other.
"Yes," they said in unision. They intertwined their hands. Benny, then, stood up.
"It finally happened. Ethan and Sarah are together," he yelled. The cafeteria erupted in cheers. Ethan and Sarah were
giggling like idiots.'
6 years Later
"And that's how my best friend got her husband," a, supposedly 23 year old, Erica read to the kids at the library.
"Thank you, ," the kids said in unision.
