"Eyeliner, Lavi? Really?" Allen sighed as the older boy went to work drawing his designs on Allen.

"I just want to trace the scar. I want to know what it looks like." Lavi grinned only inches from Allen's face as he traced the outline of the permanent mark. After a moment of concentration, Lavi leaned back and laughed, "Dude! You've got this crazy pentacle on your forehead and an amazing line down your cheek here! Look!" He held up a small mirror for Allen to see.

"Yikes. It's that big?" Allen bit back sorrow and tried to smile.

"Not really. It's harder to see without the eyeliner so I wouldn't say so." Lavi capped the makeup stick.

"Hm." Allen thought a moment, staring at his reflection. "Awesome." He put the mirror down with a heavy sigh.

Lavi chuckled lightly, "I'm sorry."

"Don't be, it's cool." Allen smiled again, more sincerely that time and Lavi smiled right back.

"I hope so. So shall we? The little ones are waiting."

Allen nodded and the two rose to retrieve their jackets for a good time in the frigid weather.

"I love community pranks." Lavi sneered as he closed the door and Allen cackled in the hall.

"Yeah! Let's go jack some candy from defenseless kids! You coming Kanda?"

Kanda smirked and followed his two bouncy friends out the door and into the night, hoods up, scary make up shadowed, and attitudes bent on freaking out little kids.
