She knew he needed her, no matter what he said.
More than anything, she liked to be able to think that he did, for she needed him more than anything.
But in all seriousness, she hated to think how many times he could have been doomed, had she not been there to watch his back. To look after him and make sure that he was okay.
In her mind, she did not care if he was the most important, clever, needed man in the universe.
Everybody needed somebody.
