A Forbidden Christmas

He'd string up the lights,

She'd hang up the reath.

She'd find a tree,

He'd chop it down.

He'd set up the tree,

She'd decorate it.

She'd make a bright gold star to top the tree,

He'd hold her by the waist while she put it at the top.

He'd start a fire,

She'd hang the stockings.

She'd hang a bit of misteltoe,

He'd grab her by the waist and kiss her befre she could blink.

This was their usual Christmas Eve Day ever sence she moved in with her boyfriend three years ago. The only thing that would change was they would switch off making Christmas Eve Dinner and Christmas Morning Breakfast.

But somehow during the day, they'd both find enough time to get eachother that special gift and wrap it perfectiy.

This year it was her turn to cook dinner. She had been reading a magazine and found a American Dinner recipe they both agreed on. But she prosmised to make his favorite desert, dango.

While the food was in the oven, they decied to open each others gifts.

He opened her's first. It was in a deep black papper with a crimson ribbon tied at the top. Carfully tugging at the ends of the lace, the ribbon came off and he unwrapped the papper. He opened the small box and found an acient looking scroll.

"Open it," her voice softly coaxed.

He unravled the scroll and found a seal written in small letters. Looking at her, silently asking if he should open it, he saw her nod approval and he placed his charaka filled hand on the seal. A poof of smoke appeared and after it cleared, he saw a pair of twin katana. He carfully picked up and observed it's every detail.

The handle was a elegant black with a dragon's head and upper half engraved in red. The blade was double sided and made of various metals so it would'nt break under pressure or a high level of chakra. His finger went along the edge of the blade and started to bleed.

"It's so sharp that you didn't even feel that, did you?" she said as her glowing green hand went to his and the bleeding stoped.

"Hn" She giggled at the answer she was expecting.

He picked up the other blade, careful not to cut himself again. He noticed that instead of a drangon's head and upper half on the handle, it was the lower half and a long winding tail. If he would put them together, they would complete eachother.

"If you focus your chakra through them at the same time, the combine together. So you can use either one or two blades." She was smilling.

"Arigato. Thank you so much." He smiled, if only for a second. "Here."

She took the small box from his hand, she didn't notice him get down on his knee. She opened the small box and saw a pink dimond ring surrondeed by smaller green emralds. It looked like a cherry blossom on a silver ring.

"We've been with each other for over three years and I slowly started to fall in love with you, so tonight, on Christmas Eve, will you take my hand in marrage?"

She gasped,"Yes! I-I will, I mean I do!" Her eyes started to water.

"Merry Christmas, Sakura Uchiha."

"Merry Christmas, Itachi Uchiha."
