"I love you." Akashi whispered to Kuroko for what he was sure was not the last time, getting only a light squeezing of fingers in response. He pressed his lips to Kuroko's knuckles.
And then the pressure on Akashi's bandaged fingers faded, the ECG showed a straight line.
Kuroko was gone.
He left the room, going down to whime Mayuzumi was waiting. He went up to Mayuzumi, hugged Mayuzumi and let the tears finally flow. Then he pulled away, kissed Mayuzumi repeatedly before he whispered "I love you." to Kuroko for what he was sure was not the last time.

this story is an exactly 100 words drabble and a one-shot so it wont get a continuation. it may be a little (VERY) confusing since its short af so im gonna explain it to you guys.
i guess the point of this story is that even though Akashi's having an affair with Mayuzumi, it's Kuroko he loves even after he's dead. those hugs and kisses and "i love you"s he gave to mayuzumi are ALL meant for kuroko. I'm a huge Akakuro shipper and personally I really like the idea of this.
