Hello once again readers! I know, I already dedicated a one-shot to OliveBerries, but the first one was terrible. So, I'm making a new one with a similar plot. Enjoy!

Slowly, I poke my head out of the tree, looking around cautiously.
Everything is silent, except for the rustling of the wind.
I sigh quietly and start to get out of the tree.
"Boo!"
"WAAUGHH!" I cry out, falling out of the tree, landing on my back.
Laughter rings in my ears.
"Found you!" cries out Ness' voice.
I smile sheepishly and get up.
"He got you good, Pit!" Toon Link exclaims.
I don't dare spare a glance at Toon Link. It reminds me too much of…
"Pit?" whispers a shy voice.
I turn to see Lucas.
"A-Are you alright?" he says quietly.
"I'm fine, Lucas," I say, smiling. I'm not sure if he meant me falling out of the tree or me…
"Let's play again!" Popo suggests.
"You guys play without me. I'm tired," I say.
"Oh, c'mon, Pit! Just one more game!" Toon Link pleads.
I wince slightly. "I-I can't, Toon… L-Link. Lady Palutena calls me," I lie. I dart away and into the Smash Mansion. As I dash through the mansion, I crash into someone, causing both to fall.
I land on the ground with a thud.
The person groans and gets up.
My eyes widen. I know that voice…
"Pit! Are you alright?" comes the familiar voice.
My whole body tenses up at the voice.
His voice.
I slowly look up to see the familiar blond-hair, cerulean-eyed Hylian.
Link.
The name echoes through my brain, making my head throb.
"Pit?" he asks.
My wings freeze. "I-I-I f-fine…" I say shakily.
Link offers a hand to help me up.
I stare at his hand, as if it were holding a knife. I can't touch his hand. Not after he…
I get up on my own, avoiding eye contact. I can't look into his eyes again. His perfect cerulean eyes…
"Link!" calls out a voice.
My eyes widen. Not her. Anyone but her…
The auburn-haired, smoky blue-eyed princess rushes up to Link.
"Hey, Zelda," Link says, smiling genuinely.
"I was looking for you!" she exclaims.
He pecks her lips. "You found me now."
Tears well up in my eyes. I storm off. I run as fast as I can into my room. I slam the door behind me and throw myself onto my bed.
Tears flow freely down my cheeks.
You…You did it again!
You tore my heart into millions of pieces… Again!
W-Why?
Why do you love that princess?
You torture me everyday…
And don't even realize it!
More tears stream down my cheeks. I dig my nails into the palm of my hands.
I wish you could just realize that…
I love you.
For now… I'll just pray to Lady Palutena… That you'll love me instead of that princess…
Slowly, I run out of tears to shed… And all I feel is hollowness.
I close my eyes… to fall into a painful slumber. As I slip into the dream world… I feel something else…
The painful beating of my shattered heart.
