Whining could be heard from a pod in the woods. In this pod, a small boy named Kakarot. "Shhh. They'll hear us Kakarot." A man told Kakarot, "Alright, let's see here... ah Earth! That would be a great place to live eh Kakarot?" He continued. Bardock was the one setting the pod up and he was also Kakarot's father. Bardock opened the pod, picked his son up, sat down and put his son on his lap. He closed the door and off the pod went.
A couple of days had passed and the two saiyans were nearly at their destination. They could see the planet right in front of them. It was beautiful in space, and they were nearing landing. "Almost There Kakarot.." Bardock said.
Soon the pod landed. Bardock looked around and saw that they didn't land in a big city. Suddenly, Kakarot started to cry. "Shh, shh. I bet you're hungry. Let's get something to eat!" Bardock said, rocking his son. After his wife's death, Bardock had wanted to raise Kakarot how she would've wanted.
Bardock opened the pod and searched around the pod for a bag. Once he had found it, he got out the milk that he had packed and started feeding Kakarot. Bardock smiled at his son which would've been very rare before Planet Vegeta was destroyed but now, he was actually caring for his son!
Suddenly, Bardock's scouter started to beep up. Bardock turned around to see an elderly man standing there. "Hello, do you need any help?" The old man asked. "Actually Yes, me and my son have just arrived on this planet and we have nowhere to shelter ourselves. Do you know where I can find some?" Bardock explained. "You can come and live with me if you'd like. By the way my name's Gohan." Gohan replied. "If you have enough space then yes. Oh and I'm Bardock, this is Kakarot." Bardock said. "I think that there will be enough room. Are you hungry?" Gohan asked. "I am, Kakarot's not. I just fed him." Bardock answered. "Okay. Follow me to my house," Gohan said. Bardock followed him.
