A/N Just a short fanfic that I've started, inspired from a word I just learned: omniscience. The Latin-English translation is actually the same as the meaning of the word. Omni= all, Science= knowing

Summary: The Rikkai regulars have started to learn a lot of new words in their English class. So, naturally they would want to use them as much as possible...
Chapter 1
Omniscience
"Kirihara, continue reading from where we left off." the English teacher said, glaring at the curly-haired boy who appeared to be sleeping in class.
"Huh? Oh, um..." Kirihara trailed off awkwardly, until his seatmate sighed and told him what to read. "Um, it says... Do not spend your life attempting to learn all, for true omnishiench is unattainable?" he read awkwardly.
"Omniscience", the teacher corrected, "is knowing everything. Similarly, when someone knows everything, they are omniscient. Kirihara, can you tell us what this quote means?"
"Uhh... that omnishiench is unattainable?", he tried.
"Thank you for quoting the text," the teacher remarked sarcastically, "now would you like to elaborate?"
The bell chose to ring at that moment, but before they left, the teacher wrote the word omniscience and it's definition on the board. Kirihara stared intently, trying to memorize the word before school ended.
"Guess what, Marui-senpai?" Kirihara said, energetically bouncing up and down while waiting for the pink-haired tensai to answer.
"Yes, what is it, Akaya?" Marui replied, almost dreadful. Kirihara beamed.
"I'm omniscient!" he announced proudly.
Niou stifled a laugh. In a few minutes, they were laughing uncontrollably. Kirihara frowned. "What's so funny?"
"You... omniscient..." he trailed off. Yukimura smiled kindly. "I'm sure you are, Akaya-kun.". The sarcasm was evident in his voice. "Well, I'm more omniscient than you are!" he defended.
"Be amazed by my omniscientcy!"
The other regulars sighed, but Niou grinned. After all, if Kirihara got so worked up about a word he learned in English class, imagine how worked up he would get about the words Niou could teach him...
A/N Yes, I intend to have a bit off a word a day thing. Partly for my own selfish desire to increase my vocabulary.
