"PJ," shouted one, Bob Duncan.
"Yeah, dad?" PJ shouted back to one, Bob Duncan.
"Emmett's here," Said Bob.
"He is?" Said PJ.
"Yeah, he's on the ground. You see, Gabe pushed him, to hug Teddy, so that's why he's on the ground," Said Bob Duncan.
"To hug Teddy..." Said PJ.
"Yeah," Said Bob.
"Hey, Gabe, I made you a peanut butter sandwich, you're favourite!" Said PJ.
"No thanks," Said Gabe. "I'm not so hungry right now. You eat it, if you'd like."
"Oh..K," Said PJ.
As Emmett rose from the dirty pavement, to look into Teddy's glowing eyes, there she was. The love of his life.
"Teddy..so, will you date me?" The young boy had said, hoping th answer is yes.
"Yes, I will, sure," Said Teddy.
"Really?" Said Emmett.
"It'd be my pleasure," Said Teddy.
Emmett is at the top of the world. He never ever though that Teddy Duncan, The love of his life, would say yes to dating him. He couldn't believe it. Teddy also was thrilled. This whole time, she was just pretending not to want to go out with Emmett. But, the truth is, she loves him.
"Gabe, why do you like Teddy better?" Said PJ.
"I don't...?" Said Gabe.
"You said you did," Said PJ.
"That was only because I wanted something," Said Gabe.
"What?" Said PJ.
"A hug, she was right there, and for sure I was not going to hug Emmett, I hugged her," Said Gabe.
"Ohhh," Said PJ.
"Yeah," Said Gabe.
"Wait..why did you push Emmett?"
"He's an annoying boy, he got what he deserved," Said Gabe.
PJ smiles.
Bob Duncan sees that Teddy and Emmett are having a good time. He hates it. He also hears they're going on a date. This is where he steps in.
"Teddy, hunny, I couldn't help but hear you're going on a date with Emmett. What day?" Said The fat man, Bob.
"Um, today, 6:00pm, that ok?" Said Teddy.
"Uh, no, you see, you're doing the dishes," Said Bob.
"Oh, well, I'll still do the dishes," Said Teddy.
"No exceptions, you're not going," Said the overly large man.
"What? That's so unfair," Said Teddy.
"Deal with it," Said Bob.
"I'm booked solid, I'm sorry, maybe another time, if I'm actually free, sorry," Said Emmett.
"Ok, bye," Said Teddy.
They both wave, while he leaves.
Teddy's heart sinks. She might not get another good chance to go on a date with Emmett. The love of her life. She get's so angry. She can't believe it. She smacks her Dad in the face, as soon as she realizes what she's done, she runs downstairs to her room. Hides under her bedsheets and never wants to come out. She is devestated.
Bob knows she is upset, but he thinks it's still worth it. He just hates the boy.
