The gentle whirring of machinery filled the large room. Light pulsated slowly from every corner, illuminating the face of a sad man who stood at a console filled with buttons and levers. Boxes were stacked haphazardly all around the room, filled with odd trinkets and strange gadgets the man had collected from all the worlds he had visited. In one corner of the room, the door of a 1960's style Police Public Call Box stood. A fist pounded on the door,
"Hurry it up, Doctor! You were supposed to be out of there five minutes ago! We're coming in." cried a harsh voice from the outside. The door creaked open and a group of people dressed in robes with high necks walked briskly in and quickly left with all of the Doctor's belongings. The Doctor's things were going to the incinerator, he had no doubt.
The Doctor checked his watch, seeing that his court case for theft would begin in less than three minutes. He really should leave. Yet, he still couldn't believe they had caught him. He bumped into a wandering Time Lord, much like himself, in a deep alleyway on the Midnight. He didn't think that that man was actually an agent for the Time Lord Upper Ruling. He didn't think that that man would give his whereabouts over to the Gallifreyan police. He had never guessed that he would be standing here now, about to leave his Tardis for the last time, forced to surrender it to Ruling.
He sighed as he looked around the room one last time, recalling all the good memories he had had in this room. All his time with Rose, and Amy, and Donna, and Martha, and Rory. Susan, Barbara, Ian, Sarah Jane, Jack, and River. This was the place that had brought them all together, and now it was being ripped away from them all.
The Doctor patted the console for the last time and whispered, "Goodbye Sexy," before he left the room for the last time.
