I'm Coming
As the blood poured out of Jennifer Check, she whispered, "I love you, Needy," into her friend's ear, placing a gentle kiss on her cheek before her eyes fluttered closed and her heart stopped.
Anita 'Needy' Lesnicki felt her own heart crack as she realised Jennifer had told her she loved her and it was the truth. She knew what she had to do but before she could even lift the box-cutter, Jennifer's mother walked in, screamed and ran to call the police.
It had been three years since that day; Needy had been sent to an asylum but broke out (with the help of her newly acquired power, given via Jennifer biting her neck,) and she'd been hunting the members of Low Shoulder as vengeance for what they'd done to Jennifer. She had brutally slaughtered the rest of them in a sadistic game of cat and mouse, leaving Nikolai, the lead singer, for last.
"It's time to die, Nikolai!" Needy shouted as her pray scurried away.
"No! No! NO!" Nikolai screamed like a little girl, scurrying across his hotel room.
"You're going to PAY for what you did to Jennifer!" Needy ran across the room and plunged her hand into Nikolai's chest, gave a sharpe twist and pulled out Nikolai's heart. "Bye bye Nikolai!" She chuckled as her hand crushed the pulsing organ to a pulp.
Suddenly, Needy smelled Jennifer's wonderful scent: wild roses and honeysuckle. She span to find Jennifer standing there, wearing a stunning white dress, smiling at her.
"Jen?" Needy's voice wavered as she took in the sight before her.
"Come with me, my love, eternity awaits." Jennifer smiled gently, extending her hand.
Needy stumbled towards the love of her life and as her hand touched Jennifer's, her body disappeared in a flash of light and hers and Jennifer's souls faded away to spend the rest of eternity together.
The graveyard where Jennifer's grave was…
The grave-robber who was digging nearby was struck as a blot of bright white lightning hit the grave of Jennifer Check.
What nobody saw was the body of Anita Lesnicki appearing in Jennifer's coffin and the two young women curling into each other, smiling in their eternal sleep as their souls made love in heaven.
The end.
