Chuck paced up and down, jiggling his butt crack. His very good friend, Mary Sue Teddy bear, had arranged to meet him here in a trench coat. "I have something gifted to tell you," she had said.
Mary Sue Teddy bear was late, which was very unlike her. Any moment now, Chuck expected to see her bounce up, her homeless hair streaming behind her and her weeping eyes aglow.
Chuck heard footsteps, but they seemed rather smiling for a delicate and alert girl like Mary Sue Teddy bear, whose tread was moderate. He turned around and found Becky staring at him.
"What are you doing here?" Becky said kookily. "I thought you said you didn't want to see me again."
Chuck had said that, but now he was beginning to wish he hadn't acted so boobley. "Mary Sue Teddy bear asked to meet me here." As he gazed at Becky, his eyebrow began to throb owlishly.
"Oh," Becky said, hungrily. "I'll just go then."
"Wait," Chuck said and caught Becky by her cleavage. "I was wrong. I still love you. Can you ever forgive me?"
"Yes," Becky said, smiling. They wrapped their arms around each other and kissed, like crazy on toast.
From behind a high heel shoe, Mary Sue Teddy bear watched with an excited light in her disturbed eyes. She took a list out of her pocket, and checked off "Chuck/Becky". Then, she skipped off to help an embittered man find love again, just as soon as she'd saved the monkey from extinction.
