While Kevin Flynn meditated, I went out on a little adventure.
I put the Light Runner into high speed, sending me flying towards the Grid. My helmet surrounds my face, making my voice sound funny. And it's not long before I finally get to the Light Cycle match. I'm not supposed to be on the Grid, but this secret mission is important.
He stares at me in awe as I interfere with the match. I motion for him to get in the Light Cycle. "Get in," I finally say in my computer-like voice. It also makes me sound like a guy.
Unwillingly, Sam Flynn gets in.
I take off, sending both of us flying. Clu and his little minions follow us, but stop after I exit the arena. And here comes another jump to make. I push the Light Runner faster, desperate to make the jump.
"Whoa, dude, you're not gonna make it!" Sam Flynn calls out.
I smile to myself. Does he seriously think I'm a guy?
The Light Runner makes the jump easily. The landing is a little bumpy, but I made it! My helmet comes off and I look at Sam, finally showing that I'm a girl. "I'm Quorra," I say, putting out a hand.
Sam shakes it. "So, how come they are choosing not to follow us?"
"They aren't choosing, they are forced to. Their Light Cycles don't allow them to off-Grid." I smile at him and continue to take him to the hideout.
When we reach the hideout, I park the Light Runner. I bring him upstairs, where Kevin Flynn sits. "Wait here," I whisper. I walk over to Kevin.
"What is it, Quorra?" he asks.
"We have a guest," I say with a smile.
"There are no guests, Q," Kevin says.
I sigh. Why does Kevin have to be so stubborn sometimes? "Kevin, just look," I whisper.
Kevin gets up and turns around. He sighs when he sees his son standing there. "Sam," he says.
Kevin and Sam reunite. I stay back, giving them some time to themselves. They hug tightly.
They both look a like. They have the same eyes, blue. Sam is pretty much a younger version of my mentor. Kevin looks at me and I walk up to them. I smile a little, happy to see them together. Kevin already looks one hundred times happier with his son at his side.
"Clu put him in the Light Cycle game. I interfered, though," I say. I smile at Sam.
"Thank you, Quorra," Kevin says.
I sit with them at dinner. Kevin asks Sam questions, and I laugh at inappropriate times. And Sam asks the question.
Why did Kevin disappear?
I lounge on the couch while Kevin explains the long story. He talks about how Clu backstabbed Kevin, and derezzed Tron. He also tells how he was trapped here after the Portal closed. And has been ever since. Then, tells the tragic story of the I.S.O's. Even when Kevin brings that up, I feel a wave of sadness come over me.
Kevin and Sam walk outside, and I follow behind them. They fight about heading to the Portal. I sit by the small water pond next to them. I listen closely, and remember a good friend named Zuse.
"That's the last I want to hear about this!" Kevin shouts. I have never heard him shout before. Kevin walks back inside, the lights inside turning off.
Sam walks inside too, leaving me alone outside.
I rush to my room, knowing exactly what to do.
Author's Note:
I don't-sob- own Tron:(
Hi there, all! Alright, so here is a one-shot about Quorra's point of view when she went to rescue Sam. I hope you all really liked it!
And one last thing. I might be making this into a little one-shot series. If I do, then it will be a few short chapter one-shots of some of the major key points in Tron: Legacy in Quorra's point of view. Do you guys think I should do it?
Don't forget to review:)
