"I want you to know"

I know some people hate this war; they just don't know what we're fighting for. They spit on freedom, curse America's ground, and don't care about the soldiers dying all around. Above all this hate and people who can think so low, I'm not like them and there's something's I want you to know.

I want you know, that I really care,

You're saving our freedom by fighting over there.

I want you to know, that you're keeping us free,

Even if that's something nobody else can see.

I want you to know that I couldn't be who I am,

What I do, if you weren't fighting for me.

I want you to know I pray for you too,

God keep you safe in whatever you do.

I want you to know that I couldn't know,

How it feels to see death with homes all aglow.

I want you to know when you cry, so do I,

I couldn't bare to watch my best friend die.

I want you to know about the hope you bring,

To the people who never had freedom's song to sing.

I want you to know what you already know,

The cause you are fighting for couldn't be worth it more so.

I just wanted you to know. . .
