One day, all the campers went to a campsite. "O.K., guys." Gwen said, "I have an idea. Let's tell scary stories." "I don't know about that." D.J. said, worried. "Oh, c'mon, D.J." Duncan told D.J., "Don't be such a wimp. It's a great idea." "For the first time, I agree with Duncan." Cody agreed, "It's a pretty good time to tell scary stories." "And I have a great scary story to tell." Duncan said, "It's called, The Coated Knife-handed Reaper."
The Coated Knife-handed Reaper:
"Wow. I never ate that much candy in my life!" Joe confessed. "Me, too!" Max said, "It could have been even better if you didn't puke everywhere." "I had to eat all that candy." Joe told his brother, " I just had to." "Let's go home." Max yawned, "It's midnight." Then, Joe stopped cold. "Dude, look." Joe pointed to a mansion, "Let's go there." "NOO!" a voice yelled. Max yelped and jumped into Joe's arms. Joe turned. It was Old Mr. Jack. "Don't go there!" Old Mr. Jack warned, "Rumor has it that there's a monster there. He is coated, so no one can see his face and he has a knife for a hand. And whoever enters the mansion never come So... BEWARE!" Old Mr. Jack walked off. Joe dropped Max. Max stood up. "C'mon, dude. Let's go." "I say we don't go." Max said, brushing himself off, "Old Mr. Jack did warn us that there was a monster there." "Pssh! Yea, right." Joe scoffed, "That was probably just a story. You now how old people are." "Yea, but-" Max started. "C'mon, let's go." Joe grabbed Max's arm and ran to the mansion. When Joe opened the door, it creaked. "Ooh, it's dark." Joe said, "That's makes it extra fun." Joe reached into his backpack and pulled out two flashlights. He gave one to Max. "C'mon, dude." Joe told Max, "We have a mansion to explore." Every time the boys walk, the floor creaked. "This place is scary." Max confessed, "Let's go back, Joe." No answer. "Joe?" Max called. Still, no answer. Max was getting scared. "Joe?" Max called again. No answer. When Max was going to call a third time, Joe jumped in front of him. "Aah!" Max screamed. "Ha, ha!" Joe laughed. "Dude, don't scare me like that!" Max yelled. "O.K., chill. I won't do it, again." Joe promised. Two minutes later, there was a voice that said, "Get out of my mansion!" "Dude, you promised!" Max yelled. "It wasn't me. I swear!" Joe promised. The voice kept on getting closer and closer until they saw... him.

"No one knew what happened to the boys... except for one person." Duncan continued, "Old Mr. Jack was rocking in his chair, smiling at the bodies on the wall." A bolt of lightning strikes. "Whoa-ho!" Gwen exclaimed, "Scary! I'm next." D.J. stood up and yelled, "No!" Everyone looked at him. "I mean you can, but I just-" D.J. stopped, "I'll just go to bed." He started walking away. "Hey, don't let the Coated Knife-handed Reaper get to you." Duncan called. Everyone laughed.
