JPOV.
I came almost every night since Edward left, I don't really know why. Maybe it was to make sure she was alright, maybe it was something more.
It's been months since me and Alice called it quits, she left me for Edward...Damn him. I've realized that Bella is cutting herself over him...if only she really saw what kind of man that he is. I think I've fallen in love with her but I can't see her loving a vile, disgusting creature like me. I mean I almost killed her for god's sake.
BPOV
I am woken up by a strange noise. It sounds like someone breathing. I glance at my alarm clock and it reads 5:30 a.m. Great. I turn on my bed side lamp and what do I see Jasper Hale sitting in the rocking chair by my window. He just sits there and stares at me.
"What do you want Jasper?" I ask my body trembling.
"I need to talk to you Bella it's rather important." he replies in that southern drawl that sounds like its been laced with honey.
He walks over to my bed and sits down, taking my hands in his. He is so cold.
"Bella before you say anything just let me get this out, I love you, I don't care about Edward, all I care about is you and your happiness." he draws in a breath he doesn't need and continues "I would be honored if you would go out with me, now you don't have to say yes or anything just let me know. I can't keep wondering about what might have been."
JPOV
She looks at me and nods her head. I can't believe what I'm seeing. I bring my head down and kiss her, she's nervous I can feel it. She starts to kiss me back and I am once again in heaven.
I lay down beside her and she lays her head on my chest. I pick up one of her hands and rub tiny circles on her palm until she falls back asleep. I can't help but enjoy being like this with her and I realize from now on I get to stay like this with her for all eternity.
