Dear Shalua,

Can I….tell you something? I want to tell you that…I love you… I couldn't tell directly because I didn't want anyone to hear me, especially Genesis. That's why I'm writing this letter to you. You do not know how hard it is to tell you this. I know it may be a bit weird, but just hear me out. I had a crush on you since the day we first met and it developed over time. This isn't some "High School crush" or whatever you guys call it, this is something much more. I don't know if you love me the same way, but can you consider my love for you? When I look at you, my heart beats faster and faster, like if it's going to come out of my chest. You may think that I'm calm when I'm around you, but that's not true. Do you remember the time when we were at the Gold Saucer together? When I hugged you after the ride, I felt a series of emotions rush through me. Happiness, compassion….love…and acceptance. I never wanted those emotions to leave me… When you left me to go back to the Ghost Hotel, I felt sadness and emptiness all over again. I want nothing more than to…well, never mind that. When you get this letter, can you write back to me? Or call me? I'll write my number at the bottom right corner of the letter if you decide to call me. Hope to hear from you soon.

-Yazoo

After writing the letter, Yazoo walked out of his house with the letter in an envelope. Once he made it to a mailbox, the silverette hesitated a bit. What was Shalua's feelings for him? Could she feel the same way, or would she feel awkward and reject him because he's one of the remnants that almost destroyed the city of Midgar just because they were looking for "Mother" ? Yazoo shook his head. Shalua would never do something like that. She's a kind person who he entrusted with keeping his locket safe once before. The silverette sighed and put the letter in the mailbox. "Shalua…I hope you'll accept me and my confession…" Yazoo backed away from the mailbox and walked back home.

Shalua….beautiful name….for a beautiful woman….
