The comic store was busy today. Gerard roamed the isles, flicking through pile after pile of the animated stories. He had a handful of 'X-men' comics and headed towards the tills. He reached the counter and as he did he noticed he wasn't being served by the usual assistant. This boy looked to be about Gerards age: 17, maybe younger. He wore a ring of red eye shadow around his deep hazel eyes . His thick black hair was cut and sytled interestingly, having both sides of his head shaved and bleached blonde. Gerard never normally let himself look at people for more then a split second, but he was finding it hard to take his eyes of this boy.
"Um...Can I help you?" Mumbled the boy Gerard had just studied
"Oh, uh...yeah, I'll take these please" Gerard stumbled on his words and they came out in an embarassed mess. Gerard's face was now a burning crimson.
"Dude, are you like, okay?" The kid asked, putting a hand on Gerard's shoulder and looking at him intently.
"Uh, yeah..yeah, I'm fine" Gerard managed, head hung and eyes focused on the floor.
"If you're sure, here" The boy handed Gerard a bag filled with the X-men comics .
"Oh, thanks. How much do I owe you?"
"Nothing, just take 'em" The kid flashed a smile and Gerard was sure his heart stopped. The sun caught on the boys lip where a metal ring hooked over it.
"Are you serious? Thans man!" Gerard exclaimed.
"It's cool, What's your name, I didn't quite catch it?" The boy questioned.
"I didn't give it" Gerard teased "But Gerard, my name's Gerard." He continued, smiling like an idiot.
"Awesome! I'm Frank." He replied, hand out and oped. Gerard took his hand and shook it.
"It was a pleasure meeting you Frank" Gerard stated, flashing a smile in Frank's direction, showing him his tiny teeth. "And thanks for the comics"
"Don't sweat it dude, you just owe me coffee!" Frank shouted as Gerard made his way out the store.
