Thanksgiving Special
Author's Note: Hi again! I told you I was going to post all these stories today. Anyways here's my story. Sorry it's late again. I'll do better from now on. So here's the story.
Katara was sitting on the recliner sipping tea in the fire nation royal palace. The gAang was gathered in the Fire Nation for Thanksgiving. Everyone had insisted for her to relax because they said she worked too much. So here she was drinking tea while reading one of Iroh's romance novels. Not a moment later everyone joined her in the living room. They all sat back and relaxed and let the peace and serenity surround them, but that peace was interrupted five minutes later.
"Guys!" Sokka whined, "I'm bored!"
"Who cares?! Can you just be quiet while we wait," Katara said.
"BUT! I! AM! BORED!" Sokka complained.
"How about we play a game?" Iroh suggested.
"Ooh! I know! Let's play truth or dare," Sokka said.
"Fine," Katara grumbled.
"Okay, I'll start," Sokka said, "Zuko, truth or dare?"
"Did you ever have a crush on someone in the group?"
"Once, for about a week."
Everyone leaned forward in their seats.
"Who?" Sokka asked.
"I'm not telling," Zuko said.
"You have to," Sokka whined.
"If I remember correctly," Zuko said, "You asked 'Did you ever have a crush on someone in our group'. You never asked who or when."
"Oh my gammit!" Sokka screamed, "This is a stupid game!"
"So we don't have to play anymore?" Katara asked hopefully.
"No! I still want to play," Sokka said.
"But, you said, and you said," Katara stammered, "Nevermind."
"Zuko, your turn," said a now cheerful Sokka.
"Um, Katara, truth or dare?" Zuko asked.
"Dare."
"I dare you to put your underpants on your head and run around outside screaming."
"You aren't serious."
Zuko stared at her.
"Oh hell no! You got to be kidding me!"
"Nope."
Katara gets a horrified look on her face, but reluctantly trudged to the bathroom. Three minutes later she shuffles out the bathroom with her underwear on her head. Her head is down and her face flushed pink from embarrassment.
"Lets just get this over with," she mumbles.
They all get up and start walking to the main corridor. When they reach the front entrance Zuko pushes it open and they all walk outside into broad daylight with a n underwear clad Katara on their heels. Zuko motions the guard to open the gates and they all walk outside with the guards giving Katara weird looks along the way.
"Okay Katara, time for you dare," Zuko says snickering.
"Three words, I, hate, you,"
"Aw, I love you too."
Katara just looks at him and sighed. She groaned one more time and shamefully started running and gradually screaming as she picked up her pace.
"What time is it?" Sokka asks.
Iroh looked at the sundial mounted up on the archway above the entrance, "Five-thirty."
"Shouldn't the food be done by now?" Suki asked.
"Yeah," Zuko said.
"Can we eat now?" Sokka asks.
"Sure," Iroh says.
So they all go inside and eat completely forgetting about Katara. It was an hour before Katara realized they were gone. And when she did, well, I hope you have a better Thanksgiving.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
