Yo guys! So I've been thinking about this for quite some time now, and I figured that making a compilation about my Kagura pairing stories would be a good idea. (oﾟ▽ﾟ)o
The contents of the chapters vary from pairing to pairing and I'm sorry if possibly, my attempt at humor would be a fail and that angst may prevail. （ー○ー）
Still, I sure hope you guys would enjoy reading!
Pairing: Okita x Kagura with mentions of Kamui x Kagura
Rating: K
"Why…"
"Then go to him." Okita merely spat out the statement on her face, with a look that screamed of total nonchalance and smugness.
"What did you say?" Disbelief was her immediate response to his words, though somehow she knew that how he was behaving was rather predictable.
And it did nothing but spark a maddened flame.
"If this brother of yours kidnaps and marries you in some random planet you aliens came from, then we wouldn't have to deal with a pain in the ass brat like you."
"…do I have say such things?"
Instead of the usual, barbaric outburst that he expected would erupt from Kagura, he was mildly surprised of the sudden stroke of seriousness and melancholy on her features.
"Oh yeah, well then explain to me why the hell you're crying right now, Sadist."
That was when he noticed the odd sensation trickling down his face.
His fingers hovered over his right cheek and confirmed that indeed, tears were falling from Okita's slightly startled eyes.
Just like that in the park, he looked like some deranged jackass having some sort of tear duct disorder.
"I'm not stupid as you may think I am, Sadist." Kagura locked eyes with him in a way that he's aware that there was no means of escape in his situation.
"Why…"
At first, he was quite disinterested upon receiving the news.
But it wasn't as if it was a huge secret that, absorbing the fact that Kamui had plans of taking his own sister as a bride left an ugly dent in his gut.
And sooner or later, his own stubbornness pertaining with accepting his true feelings would take its toll.
Unfortunately, that moment had opted to come crashing down on him in the wrong time, wrong place and in front of the wrong person.
"…did it have to be you of all people?"
"I have no idea what you're talking about, China." Still, his pride refused to temporarily shed from his system. Okita dismissed the tears clinging on his face with the sleeve of his coat and almost instantly, pivoted his heel to leave.
But then, Kagura matched his pace and she encircled her arms around waist.
From the very beginning, he knew there wasn't an escape button.
"I love you too." The words were hushed as she pressed her head against his shoulder but it was enough for him to hear.
To Kagura, the need to hear those 3 words coming out of his mouth first was unneeded to conclude what he felt.
He remained as unmoving as a rock with his gaze steadily wandering off into space.
"I promise I won't let that bastard take me away."
"Why…"
Okita grasped her arms in his palms in reciprocation.
"Like I'd ever let that happen." His usual smirk adorned his lips yet the affection laced along with it was evident.
"…did I only realize I've loved you all along now?"
This was actually an unintentional out of the blue idea. Originally, the other pairing aside from Okita x Kagura was Gintoki x Kagura but I suppose I'd save that for other fics. (^-^ )
