prologue
The young girl named Maya was walking thru the woods, from the lake back to her hut. Just like she did every other night. But this night was different, it was colder and quitter then any other before it. It made her feel unsteady. She didn't like it one bit. Ever since she moved to the woods from her homeland it had never been quiet. Not one single night.
You see Maya was a dwarf but she was not like any other dwarf she was only half of one. She was a child born out of the love of a Dwarf and a wood elf. Her mother was the elf and her father was the dwarf. Not long after she was born her father and mother moved out to the woods. They where afraid for there child. For the bond between dwarfs and elves no longer existed. They wanted their child to grow up learning the ways of both the Dwarf and the elves.
She lived a very peaceful life. Up until she was 25.
And this is where our story begins
