(A/N): My first one-shot, just decided to try something new. This is completely humor, well, maybe a little romance. Nothing more.
Disclaimer: I do not own Portal or the amazing characters in Portal.
Oh what joy it was to be able to see her neurotoxin generator close up. All those years of seeing it through a camera was nothing compared to seeing it up close in front of her. If she could only love one thing in this world, it would be this, this giant hunk of metal so much like her. Both were taken down once, both rose again, both were as deadly as the mute lunatic. Yes, she would actually consider this the closest possession to her. More important than Blue and Orange, more important than her turrets. She believed that this one giant canister was her one and only friend that she could truly trust in this world. The neurotoxin generator would never murder her, or put her in a potato, or feed her to birds. It only supported her, and helped her along the way, never asking for anything in return, just taking pride on a job well done. She honestly, truly loved this machine; she believed she would never love anything above it.
She took her new android body a few yards closer to the giant mechanical monster in front of her. She was bold enough to go so close she could feel the cold chill from the edge of the metal reach her new body's nerve endings. She reached her hand and gently, tenderly stroked the machines plating. She knew inside it had a poison, but what person didn't? She knew she had something bad in her, not much but something was wrong with her that started with a 'C' and just would not go away. She was her neurotoxin in a sense.
"You would never make me think I'm crazy, would you? No, you wouldn't, you would completely support me in every way possible, even help me where you could. She wouldn't though; she would just play 'Mrs. Right' until I believed I was completely insane just like before." She stroked the metal almost lovingly before planting a small chaste kiss on it and walking back to her chamber blushing madly the entire way not believing she actually expressed her feelings. He didn't seem too surprised; maybe he wanted to be in a relationship to.
She could only hope.
(A/N): OK I am super sick so I decided to write a little one-shot. Like I said, this is my first so tell me how I could do better! Also this is completely made for humor so don't think this is a pairing (although I do somewhat ship this pairing… a lot).
